oh

not by a regular dr but a skin dr

O.o bleach??

I wouldn't exactly want to take a bleach bath even if my doctor told me to o_o.

It's a treatment for the chronic skin conditon eczema to reduce itching.

though, there are other treatments like corticosteroids, or simply just changing your lifestyle to care for the condition since there's no cure.

I take showers...My mom yells at me if I take a bath lol

Call my crazy, But I had Eczema and not once did any dermatologist suggest once that I had a bleach bath, My skin was a war zone doctors called me one of their worse cases, my skin to this day is so very sensitive if I took a bleach bath My skin would probably all fester over

Your skin is probably sensitive due to the fact that eczema is a chronic condition and never completely goes away, it's probably just controlled. I would think doctors would prescribe things like moisturizers and even suggest changing your diet and such.

I stopped taking baths altogether when I was like, seven.

If my mom hears me starting up a bath she'll tell me it's "bad for my cooticat."

So showers are my only option.

Bleach baths seem like they'd be a bit uncomfortable...?

Why must you tell us these, Merliah? No one actually wants to hear them.

Your doctor sounds misinformed then :/

either that or maybe it's dermatitis, since those two are classified together, while eczema is the chronic condition that doesn't go away, but can be controlled with well, creams, corticosteroids, bleach baths, and a certain diet.
