So, do you plan to get the Wii U when it comes out? I plan on getting one ( but not exactly on the first day it comes out. Getting it when some games like Smash bros and Zelda come out for it). The graphics look great on it and I just know that it will have a great lineup of games over time. I am hoping that it will come with a VC where you can buy GameCube games. That would really convince me (and other Nintendo fans) to buy the Wii U.

  • Rob told you guys the Wii U would be priced at $1-$1000.

  • if there will be a kingdom hearts game on it, hell yeah!

  • I've been and, you all are god damn party poopers. If you can't fit in $300/$350 into your budget, I don't know why most of you are going to get the other consoles coming out. If you could save money,

I can't buy something i barley know about and it's way to early to make decision on that.

I won't buy it myself. But we will probably get it eventually, as it is going to have Pikmin, and possibly Paper Mario, both of which my brother adores.

Just to clear things up, guys. The WiiU is not just a new controller for the Wii. The WiiU is more powerful than current gen consoles. The WiiU is completely backwards compatible with the Wii, but not the GameCube. The next Sony and Microsoft consoles will probably not be as far ahead of the WiiU as they were with the Wii, as they would have to be as powerful as good gaming computers are today, and even if they are, it won't make the WiiU's graphics look downright ugly.

Am I the only one who sees an amazing amount of potential in the tablet controller? It will be like an HD DS, with the top screen being your TV and the touch screen on the controller. No more cluttered screens (they can move all the HUD stuff to the touch screen) and easy to navigate, touch controlled menus? PLEASE!

tutti frutti. I got the Wii before the PS3, but that was because I didn't want to pay half a grand for the PS3 back then. As for the Wii U, I would need more info and games for me to get one. I expected Nintendo to have a wider selection of games for the hardcore gamers over just party games, but hopefully Nintendo will prove me wrong with the Wii U. I may wait a while to see what Nintendo reveals about the Wii U before I make my choice.

I'll get it for sure,as an hardcore Nintendo fan,I can't afford to miss the new Zelda,Mario,Donkey Kong,Metroid and Sonic games on Wii U

Once I can afford it I think I will buy a ps3 first,so that I can play Kingdom Hearts. One day I probably will buy the Wii U, especially if a new Kingdom Hearts game will be released on it.

Well hopefully at this year's E3 they will reveal a lot more games for the Wii U for many people to get hyped about. Just like they did with the 3DS. it was simply a must-buy for a lot of people, especially for the Nintendo fans. And yes, I'm sure Nintendo will bring in some hard core games. If you've noticed, they've revcently being trying to go hard core ever since the 3DS and the Wii U have been talked about. Nintendo did clearly state that they want to bring some hard core games on the Wii U to attract more hard core gamers. But in my opinion I think that Nintendo should just stick to what they're best at.

I mean don't get me wrong. I am okay with Nintendo bringing in a few hardcore games to their systems. it shows that they are trying to get a little creative and mix things up a little. But it doesn't seem like their type of style imo. But hey, that's just me. Like Im said before, i don't mind Nintendo bringing in some hard core games. As I am a hardcore Nintendo fan myself.

FIRETRUCK ALL U GENTLEMENS! NINTENDO IS DA BEST. U GAIS ARE ALL STUUUPED IN DA BUT. WII U IS BETTER TEHN ADYTHANG IN TEH HOLE WARLD! HAPE U GENTLEMENS ROTE IN HE11!

tutti frutti. I'm also a die hard Nintendo fan myself. Don't know about you, but I have to have my Mario Kart, Smash Bros and other select Nintendo titles in my hands. Though in my opinion the Wii seems to have a lot more to offer to its fans. Ninteno has made a lot of progress with the motions in their games, especially with the Zelda series. In Twilight Princess you would just swing the remote anywhere and get a hit in, while in Skyward Sword you had to be more precise in your swings, which to me is a plus and something that could have been used in games that could have been made for the Wii. Bringing in games like Arkham City is definitely something different for Nintendo, and gives them chances to reach out to more hardcore gamers. I'm definitely looking forward to what the Wii U has to offer.

Honestly in my opinion I dont have a problem with Nintendos lack of hardcore games. Nintendo games are better because you can play in little parts like Mario. Its better for me because I actually have important things to do besides video games and being on the computer. It would be cool to get games like Battlefield on the system though.

I cant wait to see what they do with the system also. Hoopefully they will perfect the motion controls.

EDIT: I thought I'd say this is from NeoGAF. It's plausible now.

I only hope some kind of cross-connectivity similar to the PSN between 3DS and Wii U. Obviously some content will be exclusive, but at least the VC games shouldn't.

Anyway Okamiden HD?

Anyway Okamiden HD?

It was rumored last March that there was a Okamiden 3D coming to the 3DS as a launch title so just MAYBE, this is real.

Professor Layton Chronicles (Level 5)

。。。。。。。 I want to believe it, but I don't know.

I'd love to play a Crystal Chronicle game again. My Life as a King, as well as My Life as a Darklord, were really interesting and fun to play.

These are all pretty safe bets. That's probably why they made this list.

Oh yeah, I read about that rumor on nintendolife.

Although it might be true because I honestly am pretty sure I heard Assassin's Creed 3 would be on Wii U. But maybe not, because that'd be stupid not to announce it along with the other platforms?

i call fake

Yeah, I do find it strange how Ubisoft are releasing Splinter Cell and Assassins creed at the same time with splinter cell as a Launch title which makes me wonder, even the guys at Machinima had said that, but only time can tell.
