Square Enix has updated their official website for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It contains an update to the Characters, System and Worlds sections, and also contains a new trailer in the Special section.

 

Special

Some interesting details:

- The song Passion is used for the trailer's theme.

- There will be a world where Ursula appears as a boss battle, so we can assume it is based on The Little Mermaid.

- Sora talks to Braig in The World That Never Was.

- Axel is shown talking to Yen Sid.

- Riku is attacked by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness.

- King Mickey is talking to Master Xehanort.

 

Characters

Characters has been updated with two new Dream Eaters-- one Spirit and one Nightmare.

 

 

System

System has been updated with a new video showing off the Dual Link feature.

 

 

Worlds

Worlds has been updated with Symphony of Sorcery, the world based on Fantasia.

 

No prizes for guessing who I was stoked to see in the trailer. I really hope that Terra and Aqua will be saved!

—I was able to try the demo, and I found that the sudden character swapping was quite interesting. Since you are suddenly thrown into a different situation, there is a high level of tension in the gameplay.

 

Nomura: Now you are able to switch between Sora and RIku at will, but at first you weren’t able to switch at your own discretion. Seems like this game will show much more about Axel than I expected. Hope, he and Mickey will be kind of playable, would be really nice, but I guess not >_>

Do you think "this" will be Kairi's only role in the game? Come to Sora and visit him in his "dreams"? I am not a big fan of her, however, it feels kind of... strange to put her aside like that. I hope she will do something, if not coming herself to the RoS, in the real world in order to become stronger/useful.

He says the same thing to Xion in 358/2 Days when he sees her as Ventus.

lol i forgot to mention this but the part where Goofy and Mickey jump out of the towner and land on the tree and go through the tower again, thats one of my favorite parts in that movie im glad they added that im gonna laugh my ass off when i see that like i did the first time lol and i hope they add all the funny stuff that happend instead of them just going on the tree and going back into the tower lol. also i was looking closer at the part where sora is in the chair and apears to be sleeping (see my Picture) and i just notice that it looks like the chair is on the ground, so maybe hes not in the room Where Nothing Gathers, but maybe in the Chamber or Repose or Chamber or Waking, who knows, and the part where Sora is looking at Xion it looks like Sora is in his KH2 outfit becuase it looks black on the collor part but in his new outfit its red idk, and maybe the Ventus amour with the Nightmare Dream Eater Symbole on it might be a boss, or a secret boss, that would be cool

 

 

ive watched this like how many times and im trying to get a hold of this trailer, its hard, i watched the last trailer of Birth by Sleep and saw that they added some of the parts from the secret ending so part of me is saying that the part with Master Xehanort Xemans, and Ansem Seeker of Darkness fighting Mickey and Riku might be part of the secret ending and the part from where those people in the Black Coats circleing Sora and from that part on i think is gonna be part of the ending idk but man this is gonna be hard not to spoil myself with i can't wait for this game to come out. im also a little worried that this trailer might have revealed to much information but still its just my opinoin i just want this game in my hands god why can't it be sooner!!!

Then Sora, Riku, and Mickey storm the world that never was and get but kicked by Xehanort and his various incarnations. And maybe since they were removed against their will, the changes the Realm of Sleep imposed on them became permanent.

If you reread my post, I said that since they were removed against their will, the changes of the realm of sleep became permanent. However, its to early to say due to the lack of knowledge we know about the game. At this point all we have is a bunch of cutscenes stringed together for dramatic effect. I am sure some of the trailer has end game spoilers, but still we won't know till the game comes out.

Maybe... we weren't sure. D: we also thought one of the ???s sounded kinda like Vanitas..? But yeah, we didn't want to make a guess and possibly be wrong.

If you see a flash of light outside, followed by a sonic boom that gives off the sound of a hysterical cheer, followed by a trail of white stuff, that's me. Seriously though, this trailer is AMAZING. The whole thing is great, but the last couple of minutes... it really took it up a notch. My brain is about to implode.

While watching the trailer for the second time out of many to come, I noticed something. 8:58 Mickey's trying to get to Sora! It's a little hard to see, but you can tell from the shoes. So that's where Sora is sleeping. Maybe the Organization is trying to extract Sora's heart(s)? Either way, amazing trailer!

I was so EXCITED before and after the trailer....this trailer made me have a heart attack because it shoes so much TT-TT why does time pass by so slow, i WANT IT :DKH

I've watched it like 7 times today so far.

OMG ROXAS SAYS "GOT IT MEMORIZED?" I actually like Axel's face without the tattoos, they make him look cleaner, younger, Sexier, More real. It's a good look for him.
