- English voice-recording sessions have been underway

- some of the cast already wrapped up their work

- Vincent Corazza (Zexion) is done recording

- Jesse David Corti is reprising the role of Neku

- Corti revealed that voicework for the role was “about finished”

 

That goes for at least 3 of the cast already done. And the game isn't even out in Japan yet!

It's obvious the voices for Sora and Riku as well as Vanitas are already being worked on for a while.

Richard Epcar will obviously be returning as Ansem SoD, Young Xehanort and Xemnas and stated not too long ago we'd hear about that soon-ish.

And of course there's some stuff we haven't heard of. Quinton Flynn normally doesn't hear about his reprising in roles until after the fanbase does, so it's possible he's yet to begin recording.

 

The fact that some already finished recording also hints that at least the scripts are done translating. So text won't take too long to finish.

there's recording going on for other actors too Kinode,maybe it's too much to ask for but I would also love it if the game came out in june july.After all how may year have we waited for this game,KH 3D, to come out two three years?

I've been saying June-July for awhile now too. It just makes sense. This game can't be coming out much later than July!

Acctully Flynn knows about this game, but i dont think he knows about its releasing.

It sounds like a reasonable estimate. I wouldn't say anything with certainty until Osment or Gallagher make a comment about it, considering they have the most dialogue. (if they DO make a comment, that it.)

Does anyone know when English voice acting for BBS was done? DDD looks to be around the same size game wise so it would be a good way guessing the release by comparing the two.

Man, I really hope it's as you predict. Seriously, nothing would make me happier than to see a KH game released outside of Japan in the summer months. But I'm not holding my breath, because I just know they're going to find some excuse to troll us and not release DDD until September.

So I looked at old news and it looks like English voice acting started at the start of December, one month before Japanese release. So they are starting one month earlier than they did for BBS. JPN BBS released in January and NA released in September. Thats a lofty 8 months. Now there are more factors we cant know, like how much of the team SE will have to work on the localization and how much more/less the game content is. We can see the absolute latest is a November release. If they can get it out in 5 or 6 months thats a August or September release.

It should come out June 26th or July 3rd. School will just have gotten out and I can spend all summer playing it!

That's what i'm trying to tell you guys i want this to come out on the 3Ds in the summer of 2012 and this is why it is coming out in the summer of 2012.

Hopefully it comes out in the sumemr or fall of this year, no later unless they have extra stuff to work out on the game which I doubt they do

Meh, the fact that minor characters have finished voice acting doesn't mean much, it's the Disney characters that will be time consuming. Keep in mind there's more to localization than voice acting BTW.
