Mm yeah, I'm pretty sure. I mean there is nothing else to expand on (3D will/is do[ing] that)

 

What really depends though is when Nomura said that.

i think this is it before kh3, if you thinkof how many numbered titles kh has had in between kh1 and 2 there was only 1! but between kh2 and3 theres 3, 4 to count 3d this will definitly be it

It really comes down to the content of 3D. Currently, it's poised to basically answer tonnes of questions, but if it leaves out certain elements (Such as Riku and Mickey's actions during KH1, and most of KH2) Or introduces so much stuff it needs a sequel.

There is that whole thing about Birth By Sleep Volume 2...

Given that Nomura wants one KH per year, and KH3 isn't exactly close to release, I wouldn't be surprised if we got 2 or more KH's.

Okay! I've read somewhere long time ago perhaps a year ago that Nomura did say that there will be 2 more titles before KH3, can anyone confirm this? Is this a rumor? I know that there could be more since KH3 will probably take sometime to do so I am just concern whether the statement is true and it is what Nomura said on an interview.

I think DDD is the last game before KH3. Versus XIII should be finished this year (if we're lucky) or maybe next, and development on 3 will start. Maybe we'll get an HD collection to keep us occupied until 3 comes out around the year 2015.

 

And in the latest Nintendo Power, Nomura said he would soon begin writing the Xehanort arc's final battle, which would be the final battle of KH3, so he must be planning for and writing the story for the game.

i think after kh3d they will continue with kh3 as the next kh game

we already know that kh 3D directly leads into kh 3. but, they could make a bbs v2 or even some other game to explain things that 3D reveals to us. for now, we cant be sure. the best thing u can do is to find out when tetsuya said that. if it was after re:coded came out, then yeah there probably is another game aside from 3D.

I find it funny that we both have the same idea, I asked about the same question to a friend but he told me it was after Re: Coded so I am not sure if I can trust that answer. I can't seriously find the one where Nomura said the statement. But maybe it is before Re: Coded so we have 2 games before KH3. I still think that there should be one to fill in the game before KH3 since BBS v2 is highly speculated, MAKE IT HAPPEN NOMURA!!

E3 2010 was june 14-17, so try to put some stuff together. After a bit you'll find there to be IMMENSE amounts of evidence for BBSV2.

It's KH Re:coded (already released), KH 3D and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

There might have been a thread made about this before or someone talking about it in another thread, anyway im sure KH3D is one of those games that he talked about, however im not sure if Re:coded was aother one or not i think someone said it was but that could've been a rumor, now BbSV2 would be a good game to have before we get KH3, yes Nintendo Power did say that Nomura is planing on writing the script for the game and such and that is a big and important part of making a game and it could also take lots of time with re-writes and everything, but we also have to put in the development side of this, that will take some time as well, so if they do release Verses XIII this year (that would be great) hopefully they can start making KH3 but hopefully they get some rest to the team would've earned it, i could see KH3 comeing out in 2014 or possible 2015, now i know this got off the point of this thread but if it is going to be released in 2014 and with KH3D already coming out this year than there will be one more KH game before KH3 is released, but if its released on 2015 than there will be two more games not couning KH3D to come out, if Nomura stays with his promise to bring out a KH game out every year, however i don't know if that counts re-makes or not so it is possible that if he dose make a KHBbSV2 that could be the one other game to come out if KH3 gets released in 2014, but if its realesed in 2015 than the other game could be a remaster collection of KH and KH2 for PS3 however this is all just gussing lol...

Nomura originally stated in the Birth by Sleep Ultimania that there would be two more games before kh3:

Nomura: Kingdom Hearts III can’t be started if the goals for Final Fantasy Versus XIII are not concluded, however development of the next title(s) in the series has already begun. There’s one I plan to release within the year. After that, there’s another one I’m thinking I want to release from next year onwards, and I think there will be more than one main character again. By the way, the scene “Blank Points” in Birth by Sleep in which Sora ends up setting off on his journey is planned to connect to Kingdom Hearts III.

Take note of a couple of things: First he says that in Blank points when Sora sets off for his journey this is planned to connect to kh3. This is vague speak for this is the begining of kh3 for your information. The advantage to it is that you can actually take it back and never really have told a lie at all. In other words, no kh3d existed at this time. Secondly, he says that he thinks that there will be more than one main character. With kh3d eliminated, and all of his plans to tell these untold perspectives, you put two and two together and come to the conclusion that this game was bbsv2. He goes into more detail when asked directly about it:

This was before they had plans to do kh3d, and thus this was what was going to happen. You might remember an excellent theory grass had about seeing bbsv2 at e3 2011, but the problem with this was not recognizing the change in plans realized along with kh3d.

Now take a look at this.

When we were discussing in the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania, you mentioned that there were 2 new Kingdom Hearts titles other than Kingdom Hearts III coming up. One coming out in 2010, and one more being announced in 2011. It seems the title releasing in 2010 was Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, but what about the other one? Were you referring to Kingdom Hearts 3D or Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix?

 

Nomura: No, at the time of that interview I intended to hint toward a different project. However, focusing my energy on Kingdom Hearts 3D and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix comes first. Since a new Secret Episode is revealed in the Birth By Sleep Final Mix, I definitely want it to be seen. I think when you see it you’ll be excited for future developments.

Yes nomura corrects himself (he actually does this in another interview), but in this new plan he shifts the answer into an advertisement for BBSFM. Future developments hmm... KH3 YAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!.... No. Obviously the secret episode hinted towards a game about the blank points in the series. He previously hinted that the mystery game would help tie things together with new perspectives.

Nomura: What to say…? The story thus far has extended too much; I think that it’d be good to bring it together plainly for a moment. Though I can’t speak about those developments.

If you haven't caught my drift already what I'm saying is that after the one event (the concpetion and creation of kh3d) that could have eliminated this game they continue to hint towards it should be enough evidence that they've yet to toss the idea out the window

 

I suppose a more intuitive less abstract reason would be that kh3 simply isn't going to release in the time to qualify for the game a year plan. If Versus is going to release late 2012, that leaves a mere year to complete the "biggest kh game since kh2." BBSV2 on the other hand would have most of the plot/scenario worked out by the time kh3 can even begin production. If I could come up with five thousand words of ideas to write for this game I can only imagine what Nomura has in his head. This would also be a side game both in content and well, in the true sense of the word (ie. the story takes place to the side of every main game.).

 

I don't think this next part needs to be said, but Nomura knows all about rabid fans raving for kh3. He knows that the large majority are either indifferent or uneducated on the fact of the situation with versus and that talking about a mystery game when he could talk about how he is hoping to begin writing the arc's final battle soon.

It's true. Oh and this was said before Coded. So yeah.......

My theory is that we'll get one game after DDD before KH3--I'm almost positive DDD is one of the two games Nomura was referring to. I don't think Re:coded counted, since it was a remake.

lol bbs vol. 2 possible, all i know is that kh3 better be a 10 out of 10 game or alot of fans are gonna be pissed ( well at least my friend will be pissed lol she wants 3 already lol)

Right now all we know about it is just "Birth by sleep volume 2" reading right in end of bbs fm secret movie, Fragmentary passage.

Nomura havent announced it yet nor there is any information about it.
