-And lastly...WHY DOES VEN FRIGGIN FALL ASLEEP? his heart becomes one again after he defeats vanitas sooooooo WHY?

 

I'm actually not that dumb when it comes to the nitty gritty kh stuff...I WOULD JUST ENJOY SOME CLARIFICATION(:

- He's either 13 or 15. The manuel of BBS should tell you.

 

- Jesse sounds deeper as Ventus too me actually and I've actually seen no one say that he does or doesn't.

 

- He falls asleep because Ventus dies. He puts his hear into Sora until he can recover from the final battle with Vanitas and Aqua.

When your heart leaves your body, you die. Duh. This 'sleeping' is Nomura's way of Disney letting him use their characters in his games.

His heart is complete again, but the destruction of the X-blade, which was connected to it, led to his "defeat". But because his heart was also connected to Sora's, he could resist. It's much like with Kairi - when the islands were destroyed, she "died", but Sora became a vessel to her heart and her body was in some sort of coma until he returned it to her. At least that's what I think.

I dont think so, Sora went to sleep and he didnt die. Plus ventus has a role to play in kh3d so it appears that he will wake up some time (Im not counting the multiple times that aqua tells the sleeping ven that she'll come back to wake him up) Just sayin, I wouldnt say that ventus is dead.

I believe hes about 14-15. Im sure everyone was protective of him bc when he first arrived at the LoD he was fragile and needed time to recover from the splitting of himself and vanitas..He falls asleep bc his heart was fractured and dying aftr his fight with vanitas. His heart sought refuge in Sora once again so he can heal once again and be complete.While this is going on his body is asleep till his heart is reawakened

to Uncle Dolan, in KH hearts refer to your soul and being, not the physical heart with arteries and such

Ven is 14-15, but I believe he's 14, so he can be 10 years older than Sora.

Like everyone said, Ven is 14~15ish. However, when Ven's heart was split apart to make Vanitas, he was 10~11 since that happened 4 years before BBS starts. Kind of confusing since they didn't bother making him a younger model. (I want to see little Ventus!!)

 

When Ventus overpowered Vanitas, he disrupted the creation of the χ-blade:

Ventus: I've got a better idea. How 'bout I destroy you both?

Vanitas: *awesome maniacal laugh* The χ-blade is made of your heart, too, idiot. If you destroy it, your heart will vanish forever.

 

Which was what was supposed to happen. Ven's heart was lost in the darkness, but because his heart was already connected to Sora's, he was able to find Sora's light. His body in the meantime is in a coma similar to Kairi in KH1. His heart sleeps so that the damage done to it can heal, and his body will sit in Castle Oblivion presumably so he can wake up with the world's worst back sores (couldn't you find a more comfortable place for him to sleep, Aqua?)

I do think there is a difference. Makes sense since they're technically not the same person.

 

I'm a bit confused about the last thing as well.... Ven's heart was pure light so he went into a coma instead of being sent into darkness like Kairi. The destruction of the X-blade was supposed to destroy their hearts and.... uh... I don't know how Ven's heart survived but he found Sora's light

Ventus isnt "dead" per say, his heart is with Sora. He is the only one who can wake Ventus up, however Aqua is the only person who knows where the secret room in Castle Oblivion where Ventus sleeps is. So my thoughts are that they are gunna find a way to get Aqua out of the realm of darkness so they can wake Ventus up.

Uh actually Nomura said that when the soul leaves the body thats how you die. when the heart leaves the body a Heartless is created and possibly a Nobody.
