so my friend on FB posted this and i was like what the firetruck!? how is that even possible and it seems (sadly enough) that this isnt the first time in history that this has occured.

also followed the link they gave to see the list of others..and really it is just so sad and sickening to see how young some of them were and how it happened.

sigh** your're right sexual abuse of minors happens all too much all over the world , i guess i was just a little shocked because i honestly had never heard of something like this occuring till today, but now that my head has cleared i understand what you mean.

It is a natural condition. This has been happening for the longest now.

So was everything alright... 5 is such a young age.

girls will begin to ovulate at younger ages if they participate in sexual activities at an earlier age, so it's likely she may have been sexually abused for many years .. or played doctor wayyy to much.

Well, it isn't really shocking how a 9 year old is ovulating. Since females DO mature faster then males.

Although sickening, it's not appalling.

 

I really don't care how many times its freaking happened, or how natural it is for a nine year old girl to be able to become pregnant. The fact that this happens at all, to the point where people can say "its happened a lot" or "its happened to younger" or whatever, makes it even more appalling. No one that young should ever have a child. Heck there are plenty of adults who shouldn't have children because they simply aren't mature enough. Nine years old, while young, is still old enough to know and remember what happens, still old enough to get bullied and teased, still old enough to be traumatized, need I go on? The fact right here is, plain and simple, this should never happen.

 

Koko, please don't think I am trying to insult you or make it seem like you think this isn't a big deal. I truly wasn't, I just wished to get my point across and what I quoted just happened to help. Nah, I see what you mean, it's horrible yes I agree, but the way people react to it is as if it's never happened before.

What I meant really by that, is that it's not appalling in the way that it's the first time that it's happened.
