Well the poll says it all. Vanitas was described as looking like a heartless (most likely a shadow) and I would assume he had red eyes. I know it's non canon but it got me thinking because he was faceless when he was created in BBS. Now he could just be Sora's nightmare because of the symbol on his back and the red eyes. What do you guys think?

No. Vanitas is way more awesome than the nightmare.

I first though about it, but now it seems false thinking. I think its just nightmare from Soras darkness. Interestingly he looks like SOras heartless and Roxas at same time

Maybe Vanitas is Sora's nightmear because he does have part of Ven always with him

Yes I have been thinking this too, considering in BBS, Vanitas separates from MX's body in the keyblade graveyard.

No, I believe it is Sora's Nightmare Dream Eater. Since he had a Nightmare Dream Eater Symbol.
