You think it would be possible for an Indiana Jones world?

As much as I love both Indiana Jones and Kingdom Hearts, I'd prefer the two of them remain separate from each other. If there was such a world in KH, the story would have to be made appropriate for younger kids and blah blah blah. I think a lot of the awesomeness of Indiana Jones would be taken away, as it was with Pirates of the Caribbean, which is also aimed at an older audience. So personally, I don't think it would work.

 

As for Chronicles of Narnia...maybe. It would certainly be interesting, considering that Aslan represents Jesus, and Sora basically is the Jesus of Kingdom Hearts.

Yeah, the story is exactly like... no wait, what?

 

But anyways, I'm pretty sure distribution rights aren't the same as outright rights. I'm sure they'd still need to go through LucasArts and George Lucas, and such, to use the characters and universe.

Granted, Disney is rich, so I'm sure they could, but I can't see them bothering with KH, considering the franchise doesn't even make them money that could be considered pocket change...

I think after the avengers come out, we might see a marvel world insert into a KH game. It's just right now, people really still don't associate marvel with disney. And why should they? Disney just got the rights to it a few years ago AND they have a whole theme park to them in UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. So until people can think "disney=marvel!" I don't think we'll be seeing them together anytime soon.

Attention all YOCTOGRAMS!!! You are so zetta slow! Disney own part of the copyright to the Narnia series first two movies. The other parts are held by the CS Lewis estate and Walden Media.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones will never be in Kingdom Hearts! One, they would not fit, and secondly Disney would have to license the use from Lucas Film Ltd.

 

Since Disney does own Marvel now, I believe Marvel worlds could appear, but I believe it would be preferable to have a world based on The Incredibles because it really is more Disney.

Disney owns Marvel, that doesn't mean they suddenly have the same target groups and things of that nature. You don't see a big Disney castle appearing before the Avengers, do you?

 

That would be like saying "Do you think Desperate Housewives will be in KH?" since Disney owns that, too.
