Is there a reason for why you play games?

 

it's something I've found nice and it made my childhood happy!

btw, this poll isn't the same thing as the one posted recently. That asked what games mean for you, while this one is asking if there is a reason for why you play them. Just to clean up some possible questions that might show up!

Mainly for completion and for the challenge. It's also a stress relieve sometimes as well.

Relieves Stress and makes the time go by.

Reason: Boredom, then ever since of Kingdom Hearts, well.... Kingdom Hearts is my reason now, 'Nuff said.

tutti frutti. For me a little bit of all of the above. Plus if anything else, it keeps me out of trouble. A number of the games have a great story to them, that and the challenge of the games.

I play video games because it's what I love to do. Plain and simple.

Because I find them more enjoyable than watching TV/Movies and as an artist I find their way of visual storytelling inspiring.

Bad day at school/work- relax with Kingdom Hearts at night.

it kind of depends on how i feel and wich game i feel like playing at the time

Yes, because Kingdom Hearts is a video game.

 

If KH was a... say, bowl of oatmeal, I'd probably eat that frequently as well.

I grew up playing video games. Its a passion.

Its either games or books. I chose the one with pictures.

I just like playing video games because they're really fun and I like a challenge.

It's fun.

I like playing for fun. However, winning is fun so I also play a bit competitively from time to time.

Boredom. That's my real reason. //Shot unless it's a rpg. Then it's to sink into a whole other world.

Mostly to pass the time

I play them for enjoyment, but also to relieve stress and make me feel better.When I get angry I take my anger out on enemies,When I get sad I cheer myself up by playing a level that makes Sora look stupid. Lets just say this game is my life.
