May 14, 201213 yr *posting before reading answers* Inb4 a bunch of people say Japan. I'd probably pic somewhere tropical, but modern. LOL I knew everyone would say it too, me included, but it's kind of the one I'd like to visit the leas. bc one of my friends, it was her dream to go to Japan and she even went to college and studied Japanese (and she was fluent too), but once she got there she says they were all flat out rude and when she would ask a simple question (in fluent Japanese) they would just stare at her as if she were some alien speaking gibberish. She had to spend 10 days there and she says it was there worst time of her life. however the people in India were the nicest people she'd ever met and she loved India lol.
May 14, 201213 yr Author she says they were all flat out rude and when she would ask a simple question (in fluent Japanese) they would just stare at her as if she were some alien speaking gibberish. My best guess is that they were wondering where the heck a foreigner learned their language to the point of fluency.

That's why I want to go to Singapore bc I hear it's so beautiful! http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png what did you think of Japan and South Korea? My best guess is that they were wondering where the heck a foreigner learned their language to the point of fluency. Yeah, that could be. But I don't think Japanese people are that dumb I would think they could figure out that she learned it by taking a class. lol maybe they were all jus flabbergasted
May 14, 201213 yr I would probably want to go to Athens, New York, but just for a short visit, Iceland as a whole because it seems like a really beautiful country, Japan, obviously and that's just about it. Actually, no, put Italy in there too, because Italian food is amazing...and I hear they've got a great culture or something like that but the food!
May 14, 201213 yr Author Yeah, that could be. But I don't think Japanese people are that dumb I would think they could figure out that she learned it by taking a class. lol maybe they were all jus flabbergasted I was referring to the initial shock of hearing a fluent foreigner. As for the class thing, a good amount of people don't gain fluency from a class and Japanese language classes aren't nearly as common as French Spanish and German classes. Yes, but how else would she learn it? you would just assume wouldn't you?
May 14, 201213 yr Well not the Uk cause I live there. America maybe. I want to become a game designer when I am older so anywhere with good places for that. Maybe Japan but I know sometimes that they can be rude. Maybe China? I have a Chinese friend. Hawaii looks cool. Italy? New York? Anywhere! Edited May 14, 201213 yr by starlol9

May 14, 201213 yr Author Yes, but how else would she learn it? you would just assume wouldn't you? Her parents could have been fluent in the language and she learned it from them, her friends could have been fluent in the language and taught her it, she could have self-taught herself. Trust me, there's a lot of different ways you can learn things. Well not the Uk cause I live there. America maybe. I want to become a game designer when I am older so anywhere with good places for that. Maybe Japan but I know sometimes that they can be rude. Maybe China? I have a Chinese friend. May 14, 201213 yr Yeah... I would like to go anywhere! I am hoping I could get into a collage or something for it when the time comes
May 14, 201213 yr I live in the U.S. and have never gone anywhere else. But, Japan is probably where I would like to go the most. Tokyo to be more specific. Maybe I'm just being a stupid anime fan for saying that, but it's the only country I have any real interest in checking out.

I went there once, the game stores were vastly inferior to those in America.
May 14, 201213 yr I knew everyone would say Japan, but I have to say it too. The bustling city's just my kind of place! The only problem is the time to travel abroad... and $$$... and now I'm sad.
May 14, 201213 yr Oh, you live in the UK. I went there once, the game stores were vastly inferior to those in America. Yeah. The place where I live is pretty low on Game stores. Sometimes I wonder what It would be like to live in America or another country!
May 14, 201213 yr Yeah. The place where I live is pretty low on Game stores. Sometimes I wonder what It would be like to live in America or another country! You'd be able to find most games you want. We even still have some GBA games, and a plethora of PS2 games around, and I only saw current gen games at your stores for the most part.

Nice! I have lived in the same Village my whole life. You can get good games in town but not always the ones you want. The best place to get them is online.
May 14, 201213 yr Author Yeah, Americans love video games or so it seems. In my town, which although it isn't exactly small it's not a big city either, we have at least 4 different game stores 3 of which you can get older games at, the last one being gamestop which I have a love-hate relationship with. Heck even if you're town doesn't have a game store chances are pretty good that you'll have a walmart which sells video games (or in the case of my area a meijer) Edited May 14, 201213 yr by Dragoncat
May 14, 201213 yr Japan, U.K, Ireland, Italy, China, Yeah. The place where I live is pretty low on Game stores. Sometimes I wonder what It would be like to live in America or another country! your not missing much
