My and my sister finished Kingdom Hearts today! However, when it reached the end of the credits the game got stuck on the screen where it says the end. We then pushed restart figuring that it would have saved, but it didn't. :( It started us at the last point where we saved. What do we have to do to get the game to save and unlock theater mode?

There is no theater mode.

And you can't save.

Kingdom Hearts 1 doesn't have theater mode. *facepalm*

If you are talking about the very first kingdom hearts game, then you can't really do anything once you get to the the end screen. KH1 (an KH2) does not have theater mode. and if you saved before the final battle of the game, then you're fine. also if you found 100 puppies, 5 torn pages, and finished the Hades Cup, you should unlock the secret ending of the game as well.

That's what the game is supposed to do. That way you can go back through the game and do what you want. No theater mode and no "Game Clear" data.

Oh, that kind of sucks. Well at least I can watch any of the cutscenes I want on KH13. :P

I thought there was a problem with my game when i first played it but then i figured out that you can't save....

But i had saved verything at the final rest soo i was clear :)

Now that you mention it ,it would be cool if KH1 had a theater mode ,also kh2

No theater mode...

That's why we need a KH remake haha :D

Square Enix started Theatre Mode with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+.

This was a very poor design. When I beat the game and it seemed to "freeze" on that screen then I though my controller had broken. I left the game running and went out to the store to buy a new controller, came back, used the new controller... and nothing changed. Then I assumed that the game actually had frozen and I was glad that I beat it before that happened. Later I found out that the game is "supposed" to do tat.

They really should have made it so that pressing a button takes you back to the title screen or that t goes back to the title screen on its own after like 10 or 30 seconds... it's really frustrating thinking that the game has something wrong with it.

That's how the game end.

Hahahahaha what did you expected for a game that was released 10 years ago, in those times that was normal, hahahahahaha, almost every game of squaresoft (yeah before it was square-enix) ended like that.

Be thankful that now we have more technology

This was my thought with KH2. I went into panic mode, thinking I broke my disc or PS2.

At least you got farther than I did. It froze for during the part after you beat Ansem SoD when Sora sees Kairi and promises to find Riku and come back. No, "The End," it just froze right in the middle of the cutscene.

The lack of theater mode is the sad truth, but don't worry until I figured out that you have to unlock things to see any secret ending in KH2 I was confused as to why it wouldn't leave the stat screen after the credits. So you're not alone at being confused at the end of one of the games.

IKR!! ^^

The game doesn't have a possibility to save after the ending and doesn't have a theater mode. You weren't expecting much for a game that was launched 10 years ago, when it still was Square Soft and didn't even used the right analog stick to move the camera? Like Lu Xun said, that's why we need an HD remake.

sadly theres no theatre mode but hopefully theres one in the HD remake i heard was being made and hopefully there will be FM content too

That's not poor design, it's simply a old fashioned method of saying 'the game is done, stop playing'

MOST games used to end like this...

one time i was able to get to the title page after beating the game but tht was only after beating the crap outta my controller and pretty much giving it a happy ending lol but no title screen :/
