For too long we have been oppressed by benders! Ask yourself this, what good has bending possibly brought to this world? Bending is what started the 100 year war, a war that claimed millions of innocent lives. All of the crime organizations in Republic City consist almost exclusively of benders as well, who use their powers to oppress those who were not born as benders.

 

And what have Non-Benders contributed? Nearly 80 years ago The Mechanist invented ways to make it possible for mankind to fly without being an Airbender. In recent history, Hiroshi Sato revolutionized nearly every aspect of how we look at technology. Everyday, as Non-Benders create, the Benders destroy.

 

I have tried to find a peaceful resolution, yet each day I see that the bending community isn't willing to be as peaceful as I am. Our rallies have been attacked, Chi-Blocking, an art that has provided a way for Non-Benders to protect themselves has been made illegal to learn. Just a few days ago, the Metal Bending Police Force rounded up and imprisoned hundreds of innocent non-benders and just today, Councilman Tarrlok has been discovered to use Bloodbending to control others!

 

Clearly, the Benders have declared war on us Non-Benders. So how does one win a war? If we look back 80 years ago, the 100 year war ended when Fire Lord Ozai had his bending taken away. That is exactly what I strive to do. I will remove each person's bending, one, by one. I will do it all my life if I have to. Anything to see the filth plaguing this world purged forever.

 

The era of bending is over! The era of equality has begun!

We do not attack innocent Benders. Rather, you've only seen us remove bending from those who are impure. The Police force, an exception, was in our way. We had no other choice.

These impurities came from what used to be pure human beings. They were always benders. We can not know for sure who is or not impure. But benders in general, are. They must be eliminated.

What is wrong with manufacturing weapons to be in par with the benders, as of now? We all know that benders would naturally have an advantage to non-benders. Even with Chi-Blocking training, it would be an unfair and unbalanced battle.

Republic city is supposed to represent peace between all Four Nations! The Equalists want nothing but Equality, and with that, peace. Lord Amon uses his power to rid those who need to be purified, of their impurities. If bending hadn't started the wars, we wouldn't have needed a war n the first place!

Brothers and Sisters, no matter how much they insist, Benders will always be on top of Non-benders. It is time we fight back, and be Equal! We will purify it! This is how the world is meant to be!

We will drop these Benders to the ground! Only by exterminating these Benders can we truly be Equal!

I find it a bit ridiculous how extremley popular the series is. I never would've expected THIS many fans.

 

The Legend of Korra is still a great show none the less. I need to catch up on a few episodes though.
