Do you prefer to play games that can quickly be beaten or games that can take up to lots of hours to be finished?

Normally I play games that take lots of hours to finish, but that's me

I guess that since my fav games are RPGs, they usually have a long story and take longer to finish

and you guys? (:

    • I prefer to play games that I can quickly finish... I find it boring to spend days, or weeks, trying to finish a game.

    • I prefer those who take some time to finish... It can keep me entertained for a long time, and I enjoy to spend lots of hours with the same game!

    • I don't mind how much time it takes to finish it... It only depends on my opinion about the game.

Who likes short games? There's no fun in that. I like to be challenged, and have a bunch of extra things to do after the end. Like Assassin's Creed games. Or the new Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. They have an option to make the game way more challenging after finishing once.

I'm in the middle. I like games that have an appropriate length. Take the Portal games for instance, you can beat both of them in one day but after you do, you don't feel like the game was too short or too long, just right.

I don't mind short games unless it is the same price of a game that is 5 times longer.

Games that pad your playtime by making you constantly go back and forth or run quest that are insignificant to the plot are annoying.

I'm neutral. I loved Portal, which I beat in about two hours, and I loved Tales of the Abyss, which took me forty six hours (and then over eighty on a second go through). Really, my only problem is when a game gets too long. For example, Dragon Age and Skyrim. Those are both good games, but they take so long I just lost interest.

To me, the perfect length for a game is between thirty and fifty hours. Of course, if a game is really good, I would be happy to devote more time to it; and I would still be happy if that game took two hours to beat.

I really prefer longer games becaus the story in mymind is better. But if I have to I'll play a short game to keep me entertained. Like, to me the Professor Layton games are short, but I like them because the puzzle and the story/plot is pretty good.

Put it this way... Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing and Pokémon are three of my favourite series'.

Who wouldn't like a more lengthy and enjoyable game?

I love FFXIII, VII, and KH1 and 2 because they plot line was so much longer and suspenful.

But depending on the game. A short one might be just as good. Take TWEWY for example. That game was EPIC, even though it only took me 2 days to complete.

I don't mind the length as long as the story remains excellent. Both short and long games can be this way.

I'm kind of neutral. :I

I like games that take a long time to complete, like Skyrim. :D I never get tired of that game.

A long game means they packed a lot of content into it, so yeah. I'd prefer a long game rather than a game I could beat in a few hours.

A perfect example for a long game is the Elder Scrolls games like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.I like games that are entertaining, long, and having to deal with lots of strategy.

I prefer long games if they have a good story line but i also like short games only if they are entertaining. :D

Depends on how much replay value the game has.

I prefer Kingdom Hearts-length games. x3 Although I have no clue how much time I've spent on Ocarina of Time 3D. There's no time-spent thingy. xD

I like to play games that takes long time to beat, but it is good to have games which are faster to beat if I need breather before continuing game that will still last long time, but don't feel like playing it
