I'm looking for help with a small project. This is only for fun, and i will not be getting any profit from it, yet. All credit will be given to the author.

The reason for why I made this thread is to call help from any writers willing to write a simple, well written, yet small short story.

The reason: I want to try to draw a Manga.

I've tried this before. However, I used a story I had myself thought of, and it was too long. It wasn't well-planned, so I abandoned it.

 

WHAT YOU MUST DO:

To enter, you will have to, of course, write a shortstory. You can choose one, or multiple genres between:

Romance, Drama, Fantasy, Action, Slice of life.

It will have to feature ONE of the following themes as the MAIN THEME:

Violence in society, Heartbreak, Friendship, Teenage years and its troubles, Drugs(Or alcohol, cigarettes, etc),

It must have a moral message of the writer's choice written as the very last sentence, spoken OR narrated.

 

Your story can have up to 20 pages.

 

WHERE YOU MUST TURN IT IN:

You can enter them as a post in this thread, or post them in the writing section and link them here.

 

DEADLINE: I will accept entries until JULY 19th! The selected story will be announced as soon as I've read them all.

 

WHERE/WHEN WILL THE MANGA BE AVAILABLE:

I will mot likely post it in my Deviantart, (www.kinode.deviantart.com). I do not know, however, when I will start development OR (if I will) finish it.

lol I will not be able to write a story that short. That's not how I roll. But, this definitely sounds interesting and I wish you and the chosen writer the best of luck.

It would take a long time.

I don't end my stories quick, it would be a really long story, so....sad.

12th July honestly isn't a lot of time. Some of us aren't even on holiday yet and I really doubt I could do it by the date.

But a short story of about twenty pages on a word document, I think I can do it. Actually I already have a pretty good idea in mind. Going for a gay heartbreak-suicide sort of story. But, yeah, sorry Kinode but I will not be able to make it in for the 12th July, and I know you need the time for the drawing.

Sorry I couldn't help but if you need me for anything else...I may try to create the story for the 12th. But I really can't promise you anything...Hope it goes well for you though whatever happens.
