Er... I've had an Xbox 360 for a while and I don't see the problem? I mean, it works fine, and the games for it are great. Of course, I haven't had it long enough for the "red ring" problem - but I know plenty of people who've had their Xbox for a damn long time without it malfunctioning in any way.

 

The Wii is fine for me too, for that matter. It's functional, has good games, etc.

I can't say anything about the PS3 since I don't own one - I'm not especially interested in its games yet.

 

 

I feel like a lot of people just kind of hop onto the bandwagon as far as gaming goes. If they read a bad review or two, or hear other people bash a system, they're immediately like "IT SUX KILL IT WITH FIRE LOLOLOL."

 

Can't people just focus on game quality and how much fun it is instead of focusing on its bad points? Okay, so the Xbox 360 doesn't sell as many systems as the 3DS or the PSP. Who cares? As long as you enjoy the system and the games, who gives a shit? Like... Just have fun, I guess?

Almost nothing you listed on the PS one actually has anything to do with the quality of the console. I'm also not sure what you mean by the Kinect being a fail, considering it's the best selling accessory for a game console EVER. If you're talking about its use, you mustn't forget the amazing hacks

 

But here's the thing, as an owner of all three consoles, I'm GLAD I didn't have to pay for mine Xbox. You see, I have an old model, AKA, the version without a wireless adapter. Said adapter costs 60 bucks. Considering one of the MAJOR selling points of the Xbox is its online, it's remarkably difficult to access, requiring at least one monetary investment, but quite possible two or more. Considering the Wii managed to have a built in adapter at launch, I can't see why it would have been a problem for the 360.

But there's also a distinct lack of exclusives, and most 'exclusives' tend to make their way over to another console eventually, and nearly ANYTHING worth getting on an Xbox is available on a PC as well. PC gaming isn't the cheapest, but it IS the superior one.

I dunno, the thing is, when it comes down to it, everybody I know owns an Xbox, not a PS3, but everybody I know also regrets it, and wanted a PS3, but got an Xbox because their friends had one.

This is by no means universal, but in my humble opinion, the Xbox is a terribly flawed, rushed machine.

I do feel like I'm giving it an unnecessarily hard time though, there ARE so good points about it; I haven't sold my 360, after all. There are some games on the Xbox I can't effectively get elsewhere, and when it comes down to it, most games are optimized for the Xbox, rather than the PS3, so it tends to get the better version.

 

tldr; Every console sucks to one person, and is great for another.

why not just get a few good upgrades on your PC and play PC games. They're pretty awesome too+ if you need to brag about how many headshots you took in CoD you can just close the tab, open the internet and brag away! Pretty convenient.

I wasn't denying their existence, you should make clear examples when trying to show something (And why not have memes in the other categories to even things out?) And, to be fair, there's APPARENTLY some proof that Sony started working on the Move before the Wii was announced.

But hey, copying things is how progress happens. The Wii U will have achievements, and I have no problem with that.
