Though I wonder which of the anime is better: the original or the remake?

 

What do you guys think? Please, guide me to the promise land.

I have seen probably the first 10 episodes of the original and I really enjoy it. I've seen a little of Brotherhood, which I hear is better, but I don't like the new voice actor for Alphonse. That's really the only difference I saw that just really threw me off, though. I'll eventually watch more, just not in the mood right now. lol

I have to say I like the remake since it's originally going by the manga. I enjoyed both of them but Brotherhood was a lot better.

It was alright.

But I prefer FMA brotherhood, it was much better.

Yeah, considering the FMA manga wasn't finished at the time. You will experience the same thing with many animes.

I love both but brotherhood`s story was epic...

I prefered the 'original'. I wasn't a fan of the manga, therefore not a fan of Brotherhood.

I liked Brotherhood better. It went along with the manga and I preferred its story over the original.

I have not attachments to the manga, so I preferred the original show

There are subtle changes to Edward's character I don't like in Brotherhood.

They're both really good though, to date, they are the only anime that I've watched from start to finish.

the original was like my childhood. But i can't judge yet, i haven't watched brotherhood yet. I'll probably do it once i'm done with H.O.T.D

Brotherhood is much better but I liked the movie for the original better since it happened after their journey unlike the movie for brotherhood which happened in the middle of the show.

I've watched both and they're both awesome. But I probably would prefer Brotherhood over the original. Not that the original is bad. It's actually pretty wonderful story-wise, and the fact that Aaron Dismuke was Alphonse X3 so cute. There were a lot of points in the original where it's like, "Oh my gosh. Did that just happen?" But there a lot of those moments in Brotherhood as well. And I really did enjoy the movie. It was just amazing (Alphonse Heiderich ) (Geez, I'm all about the Alphonses. (Thus the name of my cat ))

I do like that Brotherhood went by the manga, though. And that it was longer, thus more hours of fangirling. And the ending was better than the original. But if I talk much more about Brotherhood, I will be ranting a bit too much so, I will close by saying "WATCH BOTH!!!"

I have watched both, ,but I gotta say that I preferred FMA to Brotherhood. I dunno, it felt kinda boring to watch brotherhood after other version and it wasn't as epic as I heard it would be. They also changed faces little bit in brotherhood and I think that those looked little bit silly.

it's not the manga. Turned into an anime. It just follows the manga more closely and has the same ending as it

yeah it's good even after it starts to do it's own thing. It had a bad ending(that's what majority thought) but after conquer of shamballa came out everyone was satisfied.

 

I felt sad for Winry at the end of the first series tho )= she lost 2 more precious people in her life

the sacred star of Milos isn't important to FMA:B and the reaction they got to this movie was major disappointment from fans. I think people thought it would be like Conquer of Shamballa(show what happened after the story) or it's just bad. I thought it was...nice...
