Hey so a lot of you like to play role plays and you really can't find good names...I use behindthename.com but those are hard to find so why don't we just post random cool names here? Thanks for the name idea's!

I like to use song titles.

Oh, and a friend of mine have a Naruto rp set during the Fourth Shinobi War. I called it 'In Love and War'

I meant good names for charchters but that would be a good name for a RP but it's yours.

When I RP (with a character that I make up) I usually think of their personality and traits before I name them. I use Romaji alot.

I usually use names based off of Greek figures.

Perseus, Demosthenes, Aries, Odysseus, Thalia, Achilles, Eos, Helios, Icarus, Jason, Pandora, Orpheus, Uranus,(heh) Xanthe, etc etc. . .

If I ever get into an RP (and I've only gotten into one), I just say nobody knows my character's real name, and is nicknamed "Freak".

(my RP, not so normal is always open, just read the rules and plot, we are about to start a raid)

I use Japanese a lot for names. Also use names, like, Red, Jade, Heart, Lacey, Lucy, and others.

Based on the character's personality, I like to use certain names based on their meanings.

I used the name Hikaru Ikewamatsu for one of my OC's. Hikaru meaning Light, and Ikewamatsu meaning Courage.

I often just use a translator in various languages and make up names... but a couple years ago I kinda compiled a list of the names I like most to use in RPGs.

Jaycub, Jet and Lloyd are my main trio of OCs that I use in things. :L Danny/Xandyn is my second main KH OC, whilst Tommy/Tymmox tends to be portrayed as his brother. I love making charries up but I put too many 'y''s in names... (Robin/Robyn, James/Jaymes, Jacob/Jaycub) Meh.

My RP characters are usually characters that I've used previously, or characters form projects that I've worked on.

 

As for names, I usually implement a blend of people I know and names I love.

use Lee, there are a million Lees. or Van, Vans a cool name.

i mostly use my own name cause works pretty well for me (Joe)

other times i use anime characters names that i know

or my friends names the odd time i'll come up with other names but somehow all the names i use always have a meaning behind them that suits the character

like my character for my generation i called her Zoey a few months later i found out the meaning behind the name Zoey means Light or Life cant remember which one but that suited my character really well cause she was a princess of heart in that certain RP

Either Ash or gold would be good names...for a boy...
