Was I the only person who was thrown for a loop when there was that random flashback/flashforward sequence after the battle of a thousand heartless? You know, when Maleficent was all like “Imbeciles!” and then Sora was suddenly in the gummy ship saying “Gee Whiz, help sure comes from unexpected places!” (I thought he was talking about Maleficent the first time) Then Sora and co. were suddenly surrounded at Hollow Bastion again, and then Maleficent shouts “Imbeciles” once more, and then they wake up in the Realm of Darkness and “Oooh! There’s a Box!” Then the ice cream triggers a keyhole and Sora unlocks it, but then yells “I gotta look for Kairi!” And then they’re in the gummy ship again.

 

I was all O.o What just happened…?

 

I didn’t figure out it was a flashback/flashforward until my second playthrough, genius me. I’m just curious if that confused anyone else at first? Hahah!

They show a scene, cut it off, then show Sora and Donald, who immediately have a flashback to that same scene, only this time it shows the full scene.

It was a bit random, but I didn't really care. I just wanted to move on and fight Xaldin.

I didn't really mind it either. I just found it to be amusing, between it's unexpectedness and my own initial incomprehension.

i've played it recently but really don't remember much.....search up a walkthrough.....

I honestly thought it was a little stupid and unnecessary, they could have just showed the full scene instead of adding in a pointless filler.

Yeah, I don't understand why they did it that way. They should have just finished the Hollow Bastion scene and then showed them in the Gummi ship.

Was I honestly the only one who felt it was ok like that, and understood it then? Also, why is it that I remember this clearly while others have no idea? O-o
