Ok guys, not sure if there's a topic about this or not, but just thought I'd rant about something. Look at the legitimate sellers of the Mark of Mastery Edition (Amazon, Gamestop, etc.); obviously, there are no pre-orders left. Now look at this eBay seller:
Key point here: "10 available/12 sold". This guy has bought TWENTY TWO copies of the game. So, what's the problem? This Collecter's Edition is getting a lot of demand, and this guy (and doubtless tons of others like him) chose to profit off of this by taking out of the stocks of fairly-priced packages that people could have bought, and sell it for a crapload of money. This forces fans to pay $90+ dollars for a game they could have bought for only $55 if it wasn't for selfish people like this. Just from this guy alone, TWENTY TWO people are deprived of a fair asking price for a game, and if some of those people are desperate enough, they now have to buy from this person. And he doesn't even wait until the game's out! Now, the stock of fair priced MoM editions are depleted, and people are forced to buy from selfish dudes like this who only want to profit themselves. Many, many desperate fans/parents are gonna pay twice as much, just so that these people can make quick cash with almost no effort. Is it me, or is this just wrong?
I mean, it's one thing to buy one extra and sell it a few months (or years, even) later so that hardcore collectors who missed their chance can bid on it and pay for a game they would have otherwise missed out on. But what people like the one on eBay here are doing just doesn't seem right to me. What do you guys think?
