RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

"Ty- how..." Juno was shattered. Tyrax was standing before her, ready to strike Saez down without a second thought. How could it have come to this? "I can't let you do that." She drew her Keyblade, its violet blade gleaming as she pointed it at Tyrax. "I agree that he must be stopped, but what you're proposing is just... no. I won't let it happen." She switched her stance, pointing the weapon directly at him. "You'll have to get through me first, Tyrax!"

Saez watched as the wielders poured into the battlegrounds. Enough to oppose even his forces. He smiled. This was too good. Evan, Tyrax, Juno, Anya, and all the elders. Eugene, Sekai, Nathan, and the remaining wielders wouldn't be far off.

 

This was it.

 

This was the final battle.

 

He heard Juno stand up for him, or at least, decide to fight to keep him from being killed. "You fools, your bickering will make this no fun at all. Juno..." He waited until Juno could look into his eyes to say it. "...if you can kill me, I urge you; do it. The weak have no place in this universe." His eyes revealed something more than his words did, perhaps something only Juno would understand.

 

"As for all of you, I'm glad you've come to your deaths."

 

Chaos Ripper appeared in his hand. He eyed Tyrax, that would be his first to fight in the battle.

 

"I would hate to keep you waiting. Men..."

 

He savored the last moment of silence.

 

"...charge."

 

A wave of darkness began to pour over the wasteland toward the wielders of light, and Saez arrived first, striking down at Tyrax will little semblance of mercy as the other wielders found their targets.

"Saez!" Juno spun as he threw himself at Tyrax. She lunged to intercept him, but one of the dark wielders blocked her path. "Dammit! I don't have time for you!" She slashed clean through the dark being, the wielder dissolving into more light flecks. Four more took their comrade's place, swarming the Master. "I don't have time for you!" Juno hefted the sacred blade over her head, Holy magic spiraling in all direction, pillars of light tearing through the dark forces that surrounded her. They dissolved as well, flecks of light taking their place. She stepped forward again, only to be met with more resistance. Juno steadied Save The Queen, snarling. Nothing would stop her from getting to Saez.

Sekai was about to follow Saez to the BattleGrounds when Mali grabbed her shoulder. "There is one more test you must pass. In order to be a true dark knight, you must first defeat a true paladin. The only one who has that accomplishment right now is Juno Grace." Mali said. Sekai nodded curtly before walking into a dark corridor that led to the BattleGrounds. She walked up to where Saez was fighting.

 

"If you don't mind my liege, I'm going to take one of these warriors off your hands." Sekai spoke. She then made a dark corridor directly under where Juno was fighting that led to the top of Mount Ordeals. Sekai then jumped into the portal herself and jumped into it. "One on one. Right now. This is my last trial as a dark knight!"

Juno suddenly found herself back on Mount Ordeals, the mirrored chamber restored to its former state. But now was no time for those thoughts. Instead, her attention turned to...

 

"Sekai." Juno's heart froze, her voice empty. How many of her friends would she have to fight? How many would she have to... "My fight isn't with you. It's with Saez." Juno felt as though gravity had multiplied, trying to pull her into the gleaming floors. Every part of her told her that this was wrong. And yet, was there really a choice? Lines had been drawn, and sides had been chosen. Only now, seeing Sekai in front of her clad in that black malice, was that unavoidably clear. She leveled Save The Queen, its violet blade reflecting in every mirror. "But if I have to put you down to get to him, than so be it. I'm sorry."

"Master..." Nathan thought.. "Please don't stand in my way"

 

Nathan went next to Tyrax and then said: "Me and Zero aren't that strong you may think, but this time we have no choise to fail... I'm thankful for your help, but I say this to you aswell: don't interrupt my actions"

 

"ATTACK!!! DESTROY THOSE PESKY DARK WIELDERS!!" Elders ordered and light forces poured on dark wielders.

 

"Now, look Tyrax how this generation destroys itself" Nathan said and jumped to higher ground to observe starting war for mean time.

 

It was bloodbath, nobody hesitated to slash people down and both sides were pretty much equal on their forces. Nathan noticed one dark wielder from group, he was right in head lines taking on large groups by himself. Nathan knew him, his nickname was "Vampire", one of the master Sage's minions. He was one of the 6 who were in Zero and Tyrax's betrayal.

 

Suddenly "Vampire's" head turned to Nathan's direction and he started to dash on his direction. "Hey brat! You seem strong!" Vampire mocked, but Nathan didn't care.

"Whats wrong boy?! Don't you enjoy yourself?!" Vampire still provoked and Nathan sighed. "No helping it then"

 

Nathan summoned his StormFall and aimed on Vampire's face. "Not quite enough!" Vampire shouted and blocked attack. "Hey brat, do you know the truth of battlefield?"

"Huh?" "You know: Kill one in everyday life and you are criminal, kill hundreds in war and you are hero"

"Oh, so mr. Vampire wants to be hero huh" Nathan provoked, but Vampire just laughed. "Not really! It's just that life feels best thing what has happened when you can kill people in battlefield like this!"

 

Nathan sighed at logic of Vampire and then he blocked Vampire's attacks, but received kick on stomach. Nathan backed away little bit and then casted mega flare, but was interrupted by Vampire.

 

The battle continued and Vampire continued his mocking through it, but then Nathan smirked. "What is wrong brat?"

"Nothing, it's just funny how you actually lose without you even noticing" "WHAT!"

Magic circle below Vampire activated and Nathan started explaining. "That time I casted mega flare... That wasn't aimed on you. I casted it on this" Nathan showed small string for Vampire and then said: "This is special string, made by my father and it lets me to cast magic on it. The point on this is that when someone touches this string, it unleashes magic inside it"

 

"No mr. Vampire, tell me do you value your life?" Nathan asked and Vampire started to shout madly. "You filthy brat! Trying to threaten me?!"

"Just shut up" Nathan said and bright explosion finished Vampire. "I haven't got whole day to fight against you"

"Goodbye everyone," Tyrax said as he clashed with Saez and summoned a ball of dark gold energy to surround the two. "Let's go.. To the Twilight World," Tyrax said as he teleported both himself and Tyrax to a world that was created through Axus and Kai. The world was a circle with Tyrax and Saez's picture embedded in it. The area was black. "Twilight World or what I would call The World Of The End," Tyrax said as he swung his keyblade from left to right. "Lets end this here without any distractions Saez!" Tyrax said.

"Indeed, let's make this quick. I have other pitiful wielders to slay besides you, you know."

 

Saez shot backward. "I've seen you do this once or twice, always wondered how it would feel..." He said right before disappearing.

 

Then he was right behind Tyrax, and sliced upwards at ridiculous speeds. He noted right then that Chaos Ripper was beginning to shine. Good, it was almost time.

Tyrax clashed with Saez. "Does it feel good?" Tyrax said as he noticed Chaos Ripper beginning to shine. Tyrax jumped back and shot bolts of light at Saez. "You won't make it out here alive, you know. Neither will I. Our fates are tied. Do you not notice the pattern below you? You and I will sleep," Tyrax tried to reason with his friend.

"I have far too great of plans to doze off." He really did, too. He rolled forwards through the air, spinning past two bolts, and deflecting another with Chaos Ripper.

 

He jumped up in the air, and threw his spinning, glowing keyblade toward Tyrax. "I made sure this battle came together perfectly, and for a specefic reason. I have no intention of letting my plans go now." Saez wasn't yet ready to reveal his plans, everything had to come into place, first, and that included making it back to the BattleGrounds, if only temporarily.

 

Chaos Ripper spun quickly towards Tyrax.

Evan was trying to avoid the multiple attacks of the enemies... the strugle was becoming worse... and Tyrax and Saez suddlenly dissapeared. " What´s going on? he though as he launched many spells to the dark ones... Thundaga; Flare; Blizzaga; Holy; Ultima- He was attacking with all his strengh...Finally he summons his keyblade and begins to attack slashing the dark ones. The battle has already begun.

Tyrax knocked Chaos Ripper out the way and raised his hands. Light sprouted from the circle and shot towards Saez. "I don't intend to make things going the way you have planned," Tyrax said as Chaos Ripper fell to the ground.

Anya immediatly drew her keyblade, and began fighting the dark wielders with everything she had. She summoned a ball flame, imbuing her keyblade with it. Her strong determination powered her attacks, and she showed her true fighting skills, slicing through the dark wielders. Are we evenly matched? Are the tides turning? Anya wondered, almost outside of her body, in a different world.

Lexia hurried after Anya into the portal seeing the masses of dark enemies spilling over the BattleGrounds. "Anya hold yourself! If you need any help contact me with your aura!!" Lexia screamed at Anya. Wow all these dark wielders. Hmmmm where to begin....

Eugene headed into the battle grounds. "Time to start to fight once again." Eugene said aloud. As he was running in, all of a sudden behind him, a dark wielder appeared behind him. "Oh crap." Eugene said as he got hit in the back. He jumped back, and summoned his keyblade and slashed at it, effectively destroying it. "Hmph, that's what you get with messing around with me."

"Silly Twilight King..." Chaos Ripper disappeared from the ground, and rematerialized in Saez's hand, still shining as bright, and seemingly growing brighter by the moment.

 

"...you can't stop something you've helped to create."

 

Saez slammed his keyblade into the floor began to crack.

 

"You were right about one thing, Tyrax..." the cracking spread until the floor shattered beneath them. "....when light meets darkness, something glorious happens."

 

Right then Saez dove towards Tyrax, and teleported them both back to the Battlegrounds, to a large rock outcropping a ways from the battle. Saez summoned three beasts of darkness, which ran towards the battlefield. Toward Anya, Eugene and Lexia.

 

He turned back to Tyrax and dove at him, keyblade in hand.

"Thank you. You've shattered my seal," Tyrax said as he sounded possessed. He rose up as his keyblade, Supreme Rule, turned into long chains of light and darkness. "Heaven's Rain," Tyrax said. Thousands of bolts of light shot down from the sky and devoured most of the dark wielders. Tyrax looked at the three beasts. "They can handle themselves," Tyrax said as he looked back at Saez. "You fool. You have embraced the darkness only for power. You fail to realize what darkness really meant. That's what Tyrax and Axus tried to tell you. From now on, I am no longer Tyrax, because you've shattered that boy and name. From now on, I am Odin!" Odin spoke so loud, his voice echoed. Odin created a throne of twilight. "Light and Darkness coexist with each other, yes. However Light and Darkness were never against one another. Take a look at the stars in the heavens. They shine bright in the darkness. Have you ever considered that the darkness could easily devour the light? It can but they're together. They make 100% when they're together. I'll explain it to you. However it's too late for you to switch sides," Odin was finished talking. He opened his hands as the chains moved all around him. In his hand came a little galaxy. Odin flicked it at a set of dark wielders. "Galaxy Bomb," Odin said. The galaxy bomb exploded causing a big wave of dark wielders to be destroyed. "Twilight doesn't have to deal with Earth, that's what Tyrax failed to realize. When light and darkness are mixed, it creates the ultimate weapon because they cannot be absorbed or separated," Odin spoke.

 

A clap rose in the distance. Odin raised his head. "May my power be passed on throughout the generations," Master Sage said as he walked in the midst of the dark wielders. "You've learned alot. But I plan on fighting my student as he has mastered the power of Twilight," Master Sage said as he looked up to where his student was. He then turned to Saez. "You're going to sleep weather you like it or not," Master Sage told him.

Light and darkness did make the ultimate weapon. This was something Saez knew all too well.

 

"Do as you wish, old man. Make the battle interesting though. My plan isn't quite to fruition yet, and I'd hate to have either of you miss the fireworks. There is no sleep for those who will to be awake."

 

Saez smiled and quickly disappeared from the rocky plateau, leaving Odin and Master Sage alone. He rejoined the battle, which was still raging, more violently than ever. He stabbed one of the elders, and the wielder faded away before this. A tinge of sorrow shot through Saez.

 

No. Not yet. Just a bit longer. Just a bit longer...

 

He fought his way to Eugene and stood before the student. "Eugene, I see you've chosen sides... poorly..." Saez raized the blazing Chaos Ripper in his hand, pointing towards Eugene. "Let me show you your folly!"

 

Lightning erupted from the point of the keyblade, shooting towards Eugene.

Sekai smiled as she brought Fallen Hearts up and assumed her battle stance. "I'm afraid that I am not going to be the one who will fall this day. This will be the deciding factor." She charged up her keyblade with darkness and rushed at Juno, slashing like mad. Afterwards, she jumped back and used Dark Pillar. "Saez will triumph. It is written."

"He can't!" Juno slashed through the Dark Pillar, darkness shattering into remnants of light. Just as in the BattleGrounds, the chamber began to fill with the flecks of light. Juno leapt forward, almost hesitant to attack. But now was no time for hesitation. "Saez is doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. I had hope that you would be able to see the error in his ways." She spun her Keyblade, light trailing behind it. Driving it into the ground, Juno slashed upward, three waves of light blasting toward Sekai. "How could you just turn on your friends? What was it that Saez promised you?"

"Master Sage" Nathan said with empty tone looking down to him. "Please, don't waste my time boy" Master Sage said and then Nathan jumped down and cloaked himself on fire and slashed on Master Sage with guillotine like attack.

"You seem strong, boy" Sage laughed as if he wouln't have even got hitted. "I do? Well this isn't everything" Nathan said and activated string he had just left on Master Sage and unleashed deep freeze hidden inside it.

 

"This is one of the Suzia Walker's inventions... Can I presume that you are his son, in that case I'm little bit disappointed.. he was lot stronger" Sage said and then used dark magic to slam Nathan away and Nathan hitted rock so hard that it almost shattered. Nathan coughed and rised up.

"I really am naive" Nathan smirked.

"What do you mean boy"

"To think that I could beat you without using Zero..." Nathan said and in flash was in front of Sage and slashed him with StormFall, forcing him to use his keyblade.

 

"What was that technicue boy" Sage, asked with little bit shocked tone. "We call it BlackLight" Nathan said Zero's voice echoing from inside him. "We shall use it to bring end to this war" "So Zero, you little pesky brat, you were alive after all" Sage said and was now more intrested to fight.

 

"Odin, let me fight Sage. You shall take out Saez"

(OOC: Please don't intrerrupt my character's fight and sorry if controlling Sage wasn't allowed)

Sekai raised Negative Shield, which blocked the first two waves, then jumped the last one. "My parents died for the cause I can only believe it is right!" Sekai yelled before charging at Juno with a powerful downward slash.

(I'll let you control Sage. Just know that he is also a Twilight King just like Odin.)

 

Odin looked at Nathan's eyes. It spoke of determination. "Alright I'll let you fight. However, I'll take out these Dark Wielders. If I fight Saez now, it would be too easy so I'm going to let him go through with his plan," Odin said as he sat on a throne in the sky with the chains surrounding him. He pointed his finger at an army of dark wielders. "Galaxy Shot," Odin said. Bright light shot at the dark wielders and enveloped them.

Juno swung her Keyblade to intercept the attack, Sekai's attack knocking her off-balance. She stumbled back, checking behind her fri-... opponent... The Negative Shield had dissolved into light flecks as well, just as her other dark spells were. Good.

 

When Juno looked back into Sekai's eyes, she only saw the bewildered woman before her; any trace of the Master she knew seemed to be gone. This wasn't even Sekai anymore. "I see." Juno said, more to herself. A wave of light flashed down her, Protect and Shell settling. Juno adjusted her footing, one behind the other, Save the Queen steadied in both hands before her. All sorrow and fear were gone, replaced by haunted conviction. "Then come. Wield your hatred and crush me. I welcome it."

Anya stared open-mouthed at the beast of darkness. Focus. Deep breaths, fight in a rhythm. Focus. She calmed down, and ran to the beast, summoning her shield. SHe drove her keyblade into it, ignoring the beast's infuriated yells. She kept fighting, almost in a trance. Block, swing, roll. Anya chanted over and over. At last seeing a weak point, she took the opprintunity the strike it down, at least for now. She looked around her, seeing Saez, now corrupt with the dark, Juno and Sekai were nowhere to be seen, Nathan was fighting...Master Sage? "How..? Well, of the things, why does this surprise me?" she muttered.
