A Kingdom of Hearts- The Keyblade War RP

Posted

RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

Character Form

Name:

Rank: (Student, Master, King/Queen, ect.)

Affiliation: (Light/Dark/Neutral, ect)

Bio:

Appearance: (Picture or Description)

Weapon/Keyblade:

Abilities:

And lastly, have fun with this! Be creative! Be interesting! Make twists and have cool fights and get into great conversations! Play the RP the way you want to, and don't forget to respect and interact with the other players who are hopefully doing just as much!

(Will do, once Saez meets with Sekai he'll be headed there next)

(True.. looks like I'm speeding things up too much. Well what can I do now? I'll just save that for later.)

Tyrax felt a burst of energy as he started to learn the true nature of Twilight. "Master Sage, you weren't of Darkness. You were just like me. The True Twilight King," Tyrax fell to his knees as he started of feel a pang of guilt. A keyblade made of darkness and of light. "Supreme Rule," Tyrax said as he looked at the keyblade. "I am truly the King of Twilight," Tyrax said as he recalled his keyblade and walked to where the last of the keyblade wielders were.

Evan walked outsite the courtroom... as he walked in the corridors he observed the enviroment around, even the Land of Departure... a place protected by the boundaries of light and dark, was becoming darker too... "Our time is running out... the last piece huh?" Evan thought, " Maybe i will not return to this place anymore... or maybe i´ll never become myself again.... " Then he pulled from his pocket a tiny blue pale orb - " I wonder if she still wait for me on the other side...." as he was getting outside of the castle he encountered Rex apearing on the place too. Hey Rex, how things are going? he asked.

Tyrax walked in the hallway towards the grand hall. He passed by Nathan. "Hey," Tyrax said as he summoned Supreme Rule. "Your aura tells me that you have combat intentions. Were you looking for me?" Tyrax asked as he put on his hood.

Rexon turned around, a straight un-relaxed expression on his face, he replies: "After learning about what the intentions of former king Saez, everything doesn't feel too well for me Evan. Now I have to find the others and tell the elders what I know." Rexon starts walking down the main hall and heads to the throne room of the elders.

Nathan shiftly turned around on Tyrax and saw his face just before he took his hood on. Nathan took one step back and then said:

"You are right, I want to talk to you, but not here. Wielders of light don't believe on you or don't want to count you as their ally"

Nathan opened window and jumped out from there and gave glance for Tyrax to follow him. Nathan walked through the mountain path, he passed the training grounds and ended up in cliff where he could see stars very brightly. Nathan noticed that meteor shower was just about to begin and he sitted down.

"Say, what are your intentions on this upcoming war? If I can guess what you are about to do I would like to help you.. After my master has been missing I have decided to destroy these boundaries between Light and Darkness. Also do you still remember man called Zero? The man who was working under master Sage before you were separated"

Mali walked forward towards Saez and knelt. "My king, I have recruited for you the powerful Master Sekai." As he spoke, Sekai walked towards him as well.

"King Saez, I have seen my mistakes in trying to follow light and dark simultaneously. The only true way is to follow the darkness." Sekai said.

Saez turned to her. "Good, I always suspected as much. You have chosen well. Mali, a fine job you've done turning her back to the true side."

Saez walked to meet Sekai, but as he did, three of his subordinates came in.

"Sir!" The front one spoke anxiously. "It seems the light wielders have gained the support of the Elders of The Land of Departure. Our reports indicate they are headed to Twilight Town to end our assault there."

Saez laughed. "Good, good, they've finally decided to make this interesting." He turned to Sekai. "Time to prove your loyalty, we go there and show these fools who they are dealing with, but only enough to make them all appear for their destruction tomorrow at the Battlegrounds."

It was night when Saez appeared in Twilight Town via his dark corridor. Sekai shouldn't be far behind.

"So, where are these reinforcements of light?" He questioned aloud, and loudly. "Are they such cowards that they will not show themselves."

It was time to draw them out and send his message.

Rexon stopped for a brief moment in response to remembering something. Rexon: Oh man, I completely forgot about Zanox. But after what he has been through, maybe it's best for him to stay out of this war. I'm sure he will be okay with my gift. Now, to keep going on. Rexon walks for three minutes and sees Anya and Lexia. He stops, crosses his arms and thinks: Hey, some familiar faces! But should I really say anything right now?

"Sorry but I don't like talking too much. I'm not like Axus," Tyrax said as he began to walk away. "Maybe you'll find your answer later on in your journey," Tyrax shouted over his shoulder to Nathan.

Evan walked outside of the castle opening a path with his keyblade. He took a look to his blue orb... then he cross the portal leaving Land of Departure. He then appeared on the shore on that island. The night was calm... he then sit on the tree with the star-shape fruit... Maybe this is the best place to spend my last night i guess... He said as he saw the horizon.

"oh, I see. I still have one thing to say, you may trust on me and I will not fight for the Light nor Darkness, I fight for myself and everyone else. If it would be possible I would wish to talk to you before this battle starts" Nathan said before Tyrax were gone and then looked to starts, lying his head on grass.

"Master, where are you?" Nathan said and then remembered how he had first been sended to Land of Departure when his gift on keyblade had been discovered and then he had been picked up from there.

Nathan summoned StormFall and looked carefully his new keyblade, it was heavier than RainFall, but this keyblade gave more comfortable feeling, Nathan thought that it would be just because he now could feel presence of Zero inside him and he talked him every now and then when he was alone.

"Say Zero, is this all right what we are going to do?" Nathan asked and then closed his eyes to dive in to his mind and see Zero.

"Hmm" Zero sighed and then said: "You may decide what is right and what is wrong by yourself. This incoming war... The one who wins it is justice"

"I know that, so in order to make our goal right is to win and make us justice, right"

"Yes"

Nathan went back to castle of Land of Departure and saw all keyblade wielders ready in courtyard in front of portal to wait orders.

"Now then, lets go!" One of the elders shouted and people started to move through portal to Twilight Town

Saez saw many of the wielders of light come through the portal. He had encountered them many times during his reign as king. Now they stood on opposing sides.

"So glad you could make it, elders. Which one of the pesky students went and told you? They're always spoiling the fun."

Saez's followers formed up behind him. Smoke was rising in the distance, and fire was blazing somewhere, illuminating the now dark city.

He was so close.

"So tell me, what brings you to this little town?"

"Hey Nathan come here, we are about to go!" Lexia yelled at Nathan as she saw him slowly walk out of a dark hallway. "Anya are you ready to go? Do you feel prepared to fight?" Lexia asked Anya trying to give her student and frankly herslf too a pep-talk before they embarked through the portal awaiting what was to come.

"Yes, Lexia, I'm ready." Anya stood up and began following everyone into the portal. Who's going to be on the opposing side? Friends, that are now enemies? She swallowed a large lump in her throat and kept walking emotionlessly.

Rexon takes a glance at everyone moving to a portal. Confused he thinks: Where is everyone heading to? I swear, each time I try to reach some people, an undetermined event occurs! Well, I might as well get going too. Rexon jogs to the portal, dashes through it, and jumps on a house roof in Twilight Town. Crossing his arms in an alert manner, he thinks: What happened to the Battlegrounds? I thought everything would be settled there.

(What's going on?)

(Nathan has convinced the elders of The Land of Departure to join him in fighting Saez and Master Sage, and now everyone who was in the Land of Departure is heading to Twilight Town to try and take out Saez and his followers there.)

"Came expecting a fight?" Saez yelled cheerfully to the light wielders as they came out of the portal. "So sorry to disappoint. But I've got to run. All of you who want to face me and die, come to to the BattleGrounds. The rest of you may cower here until I've slain the last of your true warriors."

Saez knew almost all of them would take him up on his offer. He was just making sure they had the right passion going into the battle. His plan was almost there. So, so close.

"You fools have come to stop the darkness, but you don't understand, this is a wave that will not stop until it has swallowed every world and every person. I shall be it's herald!"

Saez's private guard appeared around him. He wanted to showcase the power he had amounted in his travels from world to world. Darkness seeped from the group.

"The BattleGrounds, remember it well, you elders, students, masters, all you wielders of light who wish to be the final dying flame. " The cold night was beginning to warm up. A light on the horizon. Dawn. He smiled and turned back to the wielders who had gathered.

"The BattleGrounds, there you shall be defeated. Say your goodbyes, and meet me there, bring every wielder you can muster, I want this to be a challenge."

Saez turned, his guardians disappearing. A dark portal appeared behind him and he walked towards it. Before stepping in he uttered one last sentence.

"May we meet next on the battlefield, and the best force win."

He stepped through, suddenly in the middle of a large barren wasteland. Soon this place would be strewn with the Keyblades of the fallen, but it was worth it. His forces began to teleport in. Dozens, and dozens. He lost count at one hundred but it continued to grow. This was his army of darkness. The sun's light bathed them all in the morning's light.

Today was the day...

Elders were furious how fallen and failed king could show his face like that and even invite them to fight. "We shall head to BattleGrounds and put end to this stupid farce" Elders shouted and then Nathan sighed standing on roof looking how forces started to open portal to BattleGrounds. Nathan sneaked out and then headed to his father's mansion and thought: "Sorry everyone, there is something I have to do"

Nathan arrived in front of mansion and noticed his father smoking cigar in front of half destroyed building. Suzia also had new scars on his face and his clothes were mess

"Not half bad from your old man huh" Suzia said with mocking tone and then gave small box for Nathan, here is your equipment I made to get full potential of your strategy and magic"

"Thank you, father" Nathan said with quiet tone and then turned around. "Father.. I'm going to do it. I shall do as I and Zero planned"

"So you choose path of blood and solidute then?"

"If that is what is necessary for ending this war, don't try to stop me.. I shall destroy all obstacles from my way"

Suzia sighed and took deep breath. "I understand" Suzia said with sad tone. "Nothing I can do about this..."

"No, you had done much already" Nathan said and actived his armor and then opened corridor to BattleGrounds.

Nathan looked around and saw just what he had expected, dust. It was empty world destroyed by wars. Nathan noticed that portal of light was about to open.

"So it's starting" Nathan said and looked through his black helmet.

"Master Zero. The strongest master there is next to Master Sage. My friend and like a father to me. He has gone missing. We then found his body wrapped in darkness. May we fight next to each other side by side to face this darkness Nathan for ZERO!" Tyrax said as he stood next to Nathan. "I have now realized that it is possible to balance both Darkness and Light. However, there are some things that need to be taken out of the equation. I'll lend you wielders and masters my power and fight on your side," Tyrax said as he summoned his newfound keyblade, Supreme Rule.

Evan awakes in the shore of the island. The morning... he said as he took out again his blue orb... light and darkness... looks like fate is toying with us.... he said as he summons his keyblade... suddenly his keyblade react to the blue orb What! Evan exclaim surprised as his keyblade changed... now the Oathkeeper transformed into something new... Now the blue orb served as the keychain... Faith Guardian it was it´s name. Hehe ... You always found the way to me huh?, then Evan then opened a path to the Battle Grounds cossing into it.

On the other side... there were the elders from Land of Departure, Nathan, Lexia, and the wielders from the mansion, and Tyrax. This is it... this ends here and now.

"Saez." Juno pushed herself up, standing before the dark legion. The Battlegrounds' harsh light bathed her black body suit, the light Dark Knight's armor shining with a opposing light to that of her Keyblade. She took a deep breath, propping the Save The Queen in front of her. "We can save the worlds. We can start over again... but it doesn't have to be this way. I want to help you." She paused, hoping to reach through to him. "I've always been there for you, Saez." Flecks of light glinted in the air, spiraling in all directions. "But I'll do whatever I have to do stop this. Even if one of us has to..." Juno trailed off. She didn't want to be here, to oppose Saez, but at the same time she couldn't let herself be anywhere else right now. "Please. One more chance before this begins."

"He won't listen to you. He is a lost cause who is bathed in darkness in search for power. There is no power when your drive is to destroy. So that's why.." Tyrax paused as he spoke to Juno. "I'll fight Saez myself! Old friend's final battle!" Tyrax said as his eyes glowed. Storm clouds surrounded the battlegrounds and shot black thunder. Tyrax made his aura more noticeable. It was in complete balance with light and darkness with no side overlapping the other. This time, it was different. Tyrax's drive towards ending this battle made his aura more deadly. "I'll show him Twilight," Tyrax turned his head to look at Juno.

Anya watched emotionlessly as Saez left, to the battlegrounds, inviting those to oppose. A small tear trickled down her face, but she wiped it away furiously. "Master Lexia, we have to go. We can't let the worlds fall." She looked at her master, face solemn. "I'm going, even if you won't. I will fight for the Light, even..." she paused. "Even if I die trying. I owe to them." She walked to the portal, waiting to see if she would follow.
