Any Kingdom Hearts trivia/ interesting facts?

Posted

Ok, I LOVE knowing little secrets about games, so does anyone have any interesting facts about the games? And please don't troll me with boring facts like "Wisdom form is blue", or "Donald dies in about 5 seconds at the start of all battles" (GIVE HIM ONCE MORE/SECOND CHANCE!), or even "Vanitas looks like Sora" I think a KH fan would already know the obvious facts.

The nobodies castle? You mean in TWNTW?

Huh? How is it connected? they are in two separate realms.

Yeah I'm kinda confused on what he's asking. Maybe he means Ansems castle?

Roxas and Demyx are a name of a shoe.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi means Sky, Land, and Ocean in Japanese

Ventus, Terra, and Aqua are the Latin counterparts of SRA

Namine means wave and it has a french meaning I think.

Here's a cool secret: Sora is

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Lol, yeah he kinda is. I favor Riku as a character more. He's not so...happy all the time, much more mature

Originally, in the scene where Sora, Donald and Goofy first meet in Traverse Town, Donald and Goofy were supposed to explain abilities and the like through singing.

Kairi actually means nautical mile.

Animating the cloth in the pre-rendered movies was done separately, so during production, at one point, Sora didn't wear his pants or his jacket. KH1 Movie Director Takeshi Nozue describes it as a "precious image".

I loled at that haha. I couldn't play KH the same again if I saw that

During the early development of Kingdom Hearts II, the final battle against Xemnas was planned much differently than the one that we all know. Xemnas was to meld with The World That Never Was after absorbing power from Kingdom Hearts and become a Transformer-like creature. After you defeated him once, he would transform into a much more distorted version of this creature. You can see concept art from the Kingdom Hearts II Ultimania below, which show how this original idea would have looked.

Kai is a japanese root that means sea/ ocean. Ri is like a suffix.

Plus, it is symbolic of the three relationships.

Awwwwww yes. I knew this already but I SO WISH IT WAS IN THE GAME! It would of been epic, instead of fighting that dragon...

The original scenario of Kingdom Hearts involved Sora going to rescue the Princesses of Heart with their respective princes.

One of the developers from h.a.n.d who helped with the development of Days, one day tried to imitate Roxas' jump on a snowy day and when he intended to do so he ended up tearing right through the seat of his pants ;p

At one point, Nomura was so busy with working on the games that he couldn't spend time with his family.

I felt so sad for him since I know the feeling.

If you watch the beta trailer for KH1, it looks as though Sora (for at least part of the game) was the one in need of saving. This leads many to believe Kairi was going to temporarily play the part of hero due to lines like, "Sora, don't go", and, "We have to save Sora." Also, Riku seemed pure evil in those trailers...

You know, I kind of wish they would have kept the Kairi character development. Anyway...

Now I feel quilty when I ask for KH3 :(

Not exactly a fact or trivia really, but I find the duality between best friends to be kinda interesting. Just in comparing elements, it's pretty neat.

Sora represents Light while Riku represents Darkness

Ventus represents Wind or Air while Terra represents Earth

Lea/Axel uses orange/red fire and could be said to represent the Sun while Isa/Saix uses blue fire and could be said to represent the Moon

I dunno, I just found that kinda neat.

Originally; Sora was to be a lion humaniod and wield a chainsaw instead of a Keyblade
