Less than half of the health was left of the secret boss while fighting with Sora and I got Drop. Now I have to say that this is the worst and the most annoying thing that can happen because of the Drop System and that mainly why I am not liking Drop System very much.

Yea as soon as I got enough money I bough as many Drop-Me-Nots as possible, been using them to level-grind, you can play a whole character's story by only dropping three times, and if it's sora then 2 of them are force-drops, and the third is to start Riku's story...

If you have full drop at the beginning of the battle then that shouldn't happen. also If you beat sora's story again but not riku's you can play forever without dropping.

Yeah I got dropped during the secret portals.

Not very fun.

Boss(es) easy to beat so I have no negative comment on:

Holey Moley

Boss(es) hard to beat so I do have a negative comment on:

Spellican, Commantis, Hockomonkey (Riku)

yeah I hate the drop system when that happens

As for the secret boss, it doesn't take that long to beat it. I died when he had 2 bars left and one bar of the drop system (the pink bar) was full. It was enough time.

tutti frutti. I agree with you in that regard. I don't really think that we should be rushed with just about every fight, despite regular or boss, that we are in. Even with the item that helps lengthen the drop gauge, there is only so much that you're able to have and use, without having to run out or buy more on top of other stuff that people would otherwise purchase in the game. I prefer BBS and CoM where you are not limited to how long you can use a character without being forced to switch, and in turn manually switch back to finish what you started. I just hope that I don't see the Drop Gauge in another KH game.

Drop-Me-Not or Drop-Me-Never?

Yea I know and I had them but didn't use them before the battle because I thought I had enough time to beat the boss lol

Atleast it would have been better if the Drop gauge would stop during boss battles..

tutti frutti. That was something that I was hoping for, the Drop gauge stopping for Boss battles and the important fights where you are at a point and you have to beat the group of enemies to move on in the game. If it was points like those, I wouldn't have disliked the drop gauge as much as I do, but what can you do when Square is focused on new types of gameplay.

i've recently figured out a item called Drop-me-not restores 1 quarter or so of your Drop gauge! stop complaining. i kinda like it to tell yo the truth : |

Commantis was easy for me, hockmonkey is the pain the ass with his hands and spellican wasn't SUPER difficult, I just hated when you got to catch up to him.

As in hard, I meant annoying, difficult, or unbeatable.

Commantis was annoying.

Hockomonkey HANDS were difficult as hell, but himself he is not so hard.

Spellican is annoying.

Dude...if you know where the secret boss is, why wouldn't you use a Drop me not/never or drop manually before fighting him?

Like, seriously.

The only refights for me that I hate are

Rinzler, He is VERY strong, and I think impossible to no damage

The Crabs, Very time consuming even at like level 50 ish

Hocko monkey (riku) Hands are from hell

Spellican, His teleporting is really annoying, stage is WAY to big

Pete (not Julius) Mainly his stupid moon and sun, but just go to the curtains and tell them to to go f*** thereselves.

I was also quite dissapointed you couldn't fight ansem, I hope in the future there is a patch for it because he is a really cool boss.

I know.. I know... I could have used it but I thought I had enough drop gauge left but anyways Seriously why couldn't just Square Enix have made the drop gauge to stop while fighting with bosses! It would have been much better.

Won't deny that. Personally, I like the thrill of trying to beat bosses in time, since it adds an extra layer of strategy, but a lot of people and reviewers would have liked the game more without the drop system.

Aw stop complaining

Learn to live with it, or learn to die because of it. You don't need to like it, but embrace it and it won't bother you as much.

I haven't found it annoying, but I see lots of complaints about it. Even though it wasn't the best feature of the game it did add lots of balance between the two stories and excitement. I've only dropped once during a boss fight, and I was perfectly fine with that. Once you beat the game I suggest stocking up on Drop-Me-Not and you should be fine. The feature was a good idea at least.

I like the Drop System! It gives you bonuses for the next character :D But I can see how you'd find it annoying in Boss Fights though, especially if you're right at the end!

I emailed Square Enix about different matter, and they emailed back saying i hope i still enjoyed the game and i replied the drop system is a bit of a drag and hpefully its not used in future titles, and they replied saying Dear Emma, we thank you for your feedback and are pleased to hear you still enjoy the game. We will pass on your comments regarding the drop motion and we are sorry to hear you do not like this aspect of the game. I was like whoa lol, didnt expect a reply to that!

Shows how much SE cares about their fanservice. I didn't think that the drop gauge was THAT bad of a feature. It was no problem for me.

I was quite impressed with their responce. They were sorry nothing could be done about my other inquiry too.

No seriously the drop system isn't that annoying, we get used to it after a certain amount of time...

I dropped during the battle with Spelican and eem..holey moley but that I didn't cry, since I'm in beginner mode...but maybe in proud mode that's bad ;p...

but I think that's somewhat cool xD

I was never dropped in a boss battle. Not a single time, even when I didn't know a boss battle was coming up. I didn't find it to be that annoying at all, and I agree that it made things more interesting. From very early on, you are giving many Drop-me-nots from treasure chests, and they're not even that expensive to buy. Every world I was able to complete both Sora and Riku's sides fully without dropping, unless I chose otherwise. They only thing that got me was

when playing as Riku in TWTNW, and zoning from the Memory skyscraper to the next zone, I dropped like 2 times before I realised why.

I really loved completing Riku's side first and most of the time it was more appropriate to see what Riku accomplished first, because oh how the story played out.

Until the end, that is.
