The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 8, 2012 Hey guys, I just wanted to express my thoughts on the latest Kingdom Hearts game: Dream Drop Distance. I already beat it, and I have to say that I really loved this game. This game exceeded my expectations, and the story was just frickin awesome! And I love the awesome plot twists and surprising moments! The worlds were enormous and filled with many treasures, and I liked exploring the worlds thoroughly! The bosses are incredible, and the combat is hands down one of the best in the series, and the new Flowmotion mechanic is a great way to navigate the environment, and one hell of a butt saver when fighting against the Dream Eaters. Customizing your dream eaters and bonding with them is also a treat. Now I stand satisfied and patiently waiting for KH3. This game is truly epic. And I always liked when Young Xehanort appeared out of nowhere, he is now another of my favorite villains, lol. And I gotta say, one of my most favorite moments was when Organization 13 was surrounding Riku, Mickey and Sora and Master Xehanort appeared! (That old bastard, I hate him!!!) And one of the biggest surprises for me is when Riku got named Keyblade Master and Sora did not, but Sora wasn’t broken up about it, so it’s all good. And my all time favorite moment is when Lea summons his Keyblade. I had to scream like a crazy fanboy when I saw him wield a Keyblade! Game developers don't have to put that much effort into their games since they can just "fix" them later. It's just a shame that my favorite series is going to suffer from this now. LightningXIII 310 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) Hmmm, my favorite moment of the game... I CHOOSE LITERALLY EVERY MOMENT!!! I'm not even kidding. EVERY moment. This game made me cry! I literally freak out every time I see Riku on the screen. Probably the best thing about KH3D. My favorite worlds are Traverse Town, The Grid and the World that Never Was. I prefer playing as Riku, but Sora's great too! And a 3D CGI opening, that was just mind-blowing! I would say more, but this would honestly turn into a 100 000 word post. And I don't think that's even possible. But honestly, this is literally THE BEST GAME EVER!!! I like it better than kh2, which is kinda surprising cause I really loved that game. Thats not really fair, they put alot of work into it, the 3ds is just glitchier in general. It isn't just the game the whole system is less stable than previous nintendo handhelds but I think the setbacks are worth the cost for a great game. What I thought was really jaw dropping was the CGI opening and the ending. The ending, because I was just staring at Riku the whole time. I know they did, but there are glitches in this game that if it was released in 2005, it would, I'm exaggerating quite a bit I'm sure, the company would have to recall because there are definitely a couple of progressin glitches,. I'm just saying that with the inclusion of patching, game testing just isn't as much as a priority as it was back in the day, because now the consumers themselves have become the game testers,just look at FF IVX...,not that I'm relating the morppg division of square to the kh team.
