Posted August 28, 201213 yr Just recommendations, I've had my eye for Gamestop, but I have to apply when I'm 18. Luckily I'll graduate on the 30th of May if I keep a good pace.
August 28, 201213 yr Lots of places hire 16 and 17 yr olds. But they also prefer 18 bc they dont have to abide by child labor laws and restrictions . Keep trying though bc you will find a place to still hire you .Places in the fast food and retail industries tend to hire under 18 so try those for now . Edited August 28, 201213 yr by Flaming Lea

I would look elsewhere for the time being unless it seriously comes down to working there. Prepare for unpaid overtime almost daily if you wish to work there.

August 28, 201213 yr This sounds vague, but first I think it depends on the state you live in, then since you're under 18 you'd probably have to have some paperwork that shows you can work part time or something like that. I may be wrong though. Oh and I don't want to sound mean or demoralizing or anything, but I've heard gamestop isn't the greatest place to work part time(not very employee friendly), but hey whatever floats your boat. August 28, 201213 yr From former employee's that worked at Gstop: "You will lose your soul." It can't be worse than fast food. A former employee threatened to rob us with a gun.
