Ok, I've been seeing a lot of fan art of the fallen character Oswald the lucky rabbit. He appears to be a fan favorite as a new character in the saga, to just get it out there... What is his story, role and chances of being in kh 3?

With Nomura you never know , so I'd say there is a pretty decent chance especially if there is a vocal high demand.

Who is Oswald o:

A cartoon rabbit created by Walt Disney back when he worked for Universal pictures. When Walt left to form his own company, Universal retained ownership of Oswald. So Walt created Mickey Mouse in his place. The rest as they say is history: Mickey became a cultural phenomenon while Oswald disappeared into obscurity.

 

Around 2004-06 the Disney corporation finally bought back the rights to Oswald.

 

The 2010 Wii game Epic Mickey marks Oswald's formal return, playing on the real-life history to depict him as ruler of a kingdom populated by forgotten Disney characters & resentful of his more famous "brother".

Excellent, couldn't of said it better myself. Now my question is how will they work him in, if he is in the next game. Would he be the rightful king of Disney castle or some long lost brother of Mickey? What do you think

If bringing him in replaces Mickey as King, I don't want him in the next game.

So much plot twisters are thrown at you already, I don't want the only King I know (forgetting how I live in the UK and how William will be King once Eliza crocks it) to be suddenly replaced by someone I barely know

It would be neat though if he came into the series as a long lost brother of Mickey and was a vessel of darkness. That'd be unexpected. Friends V friends seems to be a theme in this war (Lea V Saix, VenAqua V Terra (til they save him) etc etc

No I think it would be sort of a foil to Mickey, as a sort of nobody as being his equal opposite. The character would be the king before mickey.

What would be really awesome is if there was some sort of "family rivalry" thing going on between Mickey and Oswald. For example, Oswald comes back and attempts to take the Disney Castle throne from Mickey, while Xehanort's running around trying to kill Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lea, etc.

Be the perfect sub plot that everyone can enjoy, personally I would love to see some robotic versions of sora and co, ( as done in epic Mickey).

I would love to see Oswald in KH3 !
