I more so think that it's more of a waste not to bring it back in the future since I thought that the fight was pretty good to watch. If it does return, I think that it should have come major connection to that white castle in the RoD.

I think a single reappearance would be fine. I think it should be related to some revelation about the RoD though, not just some random animal that happened to be there.
