I swore I'd pick up electoral advertisement from the streets of my school...

You did a good thing, Kinode. I don't know you very well, but you have my respect.

You did something very good. Hopefully your hard work can encourage others to do the same.

Yep, happens like everywhere here on Brasil. I llive in front of a voting area, so my street turns into complete sea of paper. I cleaned for some time with my relatives, but it's futile, since people just pass throwing more and more papers... Jerks...

They even sliced the mini "outdoor" (I don know how to say this in English...) of my mother, which had her candidates. Man, people here are really nuts.

But anyways, you made a good thing, really an example to how people should stop doing this. It's a waste of paper, affects the environment and creates a lot of trouble after... The manholes get full of garbage, and then when it rains, it floods all over the place...

People should know that actions like this have the worst consequences after. But we all live in a worlds to "do what's best for you now, and screw the others later", don't we?

Way to go, bud. Even if few people were willing to help out, you should be proud of yourself for stepping up.

Do people intentionally scatter them all over the streets, or are they handed out but people kinda just drop them there?

Both.

On the voting day eve, people charged with handing them out just drop them wherever because they're to lazy to throw them away.

Did the right thing

What you're doing is helping a great deal. :)

Good one, Kinode.

That's just disgustingly excessive. You can hardly see the pavement anymore. So I guess political candidates don't care if these advertisements are illegal as long as it promotes them? That would never fly in my country. Sorry it happens in yours :( Keep up with the cleaning, Kinode! Don't let the politician turn the place you live into a paper waste.

Damnnnn, and I thought Boston was bad. Teenagers do drugs and bug little kids here. :/

You did a good thing picking up all the trash they left, most people would just leave it there.

Wow. That really sucks. I'm sorry. But good for you, being a good citizen and offering to clean up. :)

May things turn better.

P.S

Are those unused ballots, or are some of them filled out?

Isn't that kind of counterintuitive? That sure as hell wouldn't get me to vote for a candidate xD that's pretty ridiculous. Good job showing you care about the state of your home town, though. I can only think of one person in my town that gives a damn what the town looks like. Unfortunately his efforts are in vain.

Those are just advertising papers like these, so there's nothing to fill out.
