This is one of the new fangled HD perks for KH1FM that I think is very interesting....I mean, it makes sense.

 

Think about it. We know how far apart the models for these characters (mostly Sora) compared to how they originally looked like in the original 2002 game and how their designs changed up a little following Re:Chain Of Memories and every other installment of the series since that.

 

This is very intriguing to be honest....I always thought the newer models looked better than how they were before.

 

Now, with this piece of news I pose to you a question: could we see this practice again?

 

Re:COM is also on the Remix disc, but since, like I said, the new models started at that very same game...there's no need to fiddle around with models or anything like that. However, as far as other games in the series go, possibly in the 2.5 Remix, maybe something could be done....frankly, yes, comparing models like Riku and Sora from KH2, the original game, to their brief appearances in DDD.....yeah, there's not much of a difference. Or maybe there is? I can't tell. The only real difference I see is Riku's haircut....come to think of it, could you imagine that model replacing the original one in 2? HA! That'd be hilarious.

 

Well, anyways, let's see what you think. Any thoughts? Opinions? Concerns? Queries?

This actually makes me kinda sad. I always appreciated Sora and Riku's original KH1 models. They were the ones I grew used to first. When I saw that Sora's model changed in Re:CoM, I was disappointed. His eyelashes were too thick in Re:CoM, and he just wasn't "Sora" to me anymore.

I know, I'm picky. As far as Riku's model goes, I can't really tell the difference. But I'm still one of those "stick with the originals" girls. If I'm not mistaken, they changed Sora's KH2 model too in DDD. The damn eyes. I pay too much attention to the damn eyes.

Huh....I see what you're getting at.

 

Despite that, however, I still see the newer model as a better look. He justs seems more....I don't know....cartoony, which fits in with the style that characters at that age are made in. Plus, he's a whole lot more cheeky when he smiles, which I think fits.

I think they only will change mickey, xemnas, ansem the wise, ansem the seeker of darkness etc in this future game. (HD 2.5)
