Hey everyone! So I decided to work on a new project. A Romantic Story. But since it's my first time writing one of these types of storys I want to know what everyone looks forward too in one of these kinds of storys. What kind of Titles make you want to read it? What details do you like (kissing, hand holding, etc.), What mood settings do you like, etc anything you can answer & tell me is gladly appreciated So I can figure out how I want to write this story.

Holding hands and cuddling grab my attention, along with the occasional kissing. :3

It's cute, and some girls like that, if not all.

I don't really care about the title, as long as it seems interesting.

Of course, you can try to make the storyline original. I wouldn't enjoy the story as much if it had Vampires. They're overused, imo.

Yea Vampires are wayyy overused :3

Just do the conventional story. He was a boy she was a girl

One (or both) of them died.

Everyone cried.

OR you can write it from a drunk man's point of view!

He was a girl, she was a boy.

On(or both) of them cried

Everyone died.

I do like death endings, but then again they are overused just like Vampires :I

The most recent "romance" book I read was 50 shades..o.O

I like moments of surprise. Like, (from the perspective of one character) likes someone, they don't know if they like them back, bam forceful kiss, surprise. Then normally someone tries to step in and woo the girl. There's way too many love triangles...

Don't want vampires?

Do zombies:

They're getting more attractive, they're being "hollywood-ized"

Or yano...humans.

A kind of Romantic Story that has Forbidden Love in it but doesn't end Tragically like Romeo and Juliet does and rather has a Happy Ending instead like Much Ado About Nothing does.

Hmmmm.... Usually when I write my stories I usually like my two characters to have somewhat of a hard understanding. Meaning, that because they stick to their personalities and are afraid to be different they begin to understand one another more. And usually Romance takes a couple of chapters before it gets good. U don't want to go overboard too soon.

And am I the only one that thinks Vampires don't get overused :P I mean just write a VampireXHuman novel, wait a couple of years as it dies down, then sell it to gain popularity. Lol, that's what I think http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png

Give a bit of focus on how the characters feel when they are around each other versus when they are not. For example does the character act differently around his love than when he is not? What goes through their minds when they connect and such, and how does each character change by finding love?

Those are the types of things (if anything) that would entice me to read a romance story...

Don't make the girl lovesick. That annoys me so much. As for romance, it depends on what relationship you're going for. if you want the sweet, innocent love, tenative hand-holding and pecks on the cheek. If you want something a bit more passionate, more *ahem* seductive embraces, such as a guy wrapping his arm around the girls waist, and deeper kisses. As for titles, it really depends on the plot of the story. Read alot of romantic novels, you'll get alot of inspiration and probably more help than I could give. Try and make the romance real, and not too fairy-tale, only-happens-in-books sort of thing.
