So, as we all know, Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Literally a few weeks away. We all love it, and what is everyone's favorite part?

NegaTycen:Food?

Tycen: Yes, but no. It's the Traditions! One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions that we used to keep was that we used to watch Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving. Here is a short video of it.

Whats YOUR favorite Thanksgiving traditions?

Ughhhh...Don't remind me of the food. I always feel bad about myself.

we pretty much always go to my Aunt`s place for Thanksgiving and we play board/card games and eat LOTS of food.

We don't celebrate it where I live but I'd prob be looking forward to the food. It looks glorious on those American shows ._.'

Ah, American Thanksgiving. So weird to think of Thanksgiving in November. Always overshadowing Canadian Thanksgiving.

We go down to my aunt's house. Stuff ourselves. Then tell stories.

sounds like fun!

Well, it's pretty much cooking for me, since we usually host Thanksgiving every year. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png

But after that, we usually have fun conversations within the family, and we all pretty much fall asleep.

It's one of our favorite holidays. :3

Enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and then my parents go to bed early to wake up early for Black Friday. They are very eco efficient parents.

Or, we sleep really late enjoying Thanksgiving with relatives and take a short nap before heading out to the mall...

Ah Thanksgiving a time for thanking god for the things we are most greatful for. My favorite tradition was taking all my brothers and sisters and taking them up to school and playing game of football, then afterwards for ice cream :D

For my family, we get together with my cousins, aunts, and uncles at my aunt's house in the country. EVERYONE brings their dog (there are usually 4-6 running around.). And my cousins bring their four wheeler and take turns with passengers(you can't have more that two people ride it at a time.).

One of my favourite traditions was playing Mario Party 1 with my cousins. We did that ALL the time on Thanksgiving. It was so fun! Unfortunately, my cousin moved away from the country and didn't take the N64 with him so my aunt sold it. D:

As for traditions related to food...

My mom always make a dish with smashed sweet potatoes in the bottom and on top it's a crumbly topping with pecans and cranberries and stuff. She also makes an orange jello with shredded carrot. She ALSO makes a cranberry jello stuff with marshmallows.

And of course, PIE. (●⌒∇⌒●)
