Monty Oum, the creator of Dead Fantasy is creating a new show, called RWBY {Red White Black Yellow} so far, there is a trailer which showcase what I believe is Red, a girl based off of Little Red Riding hood. It's incredibly badass, and the soundtrack so far sounds amazing!

Look, i was being an ass, you were stating your opinion. Your allowed. Sorry.  Anyway ive kinda moved on from RWBY anyway, dont get me wrong im still gonna watch it but my hype is down thats all.

Huh... that was surprising. Regardless, I'll take it.

For all the flaws RWBY has, I can't bring myself to hate it. In fact, I do enjoy it and like it quite a bit and maybe even love it. But with most things I like/love, I want it to keep going and generally, do well. Imagining RWBY with better production value, writing, etc. means more people will like it, meaning more fans, more enthusiasm, and more revenue to keep the series going. I just wish the RWBY crew weren't so complacent in their ways and actually improved upon their work.

Beat me to it, I just got done watching it, I like it and in my opinion I don't think it really spoiled anything all that much, if anything the only thing it really spoiled is that Winter (Weiss's sister) and Qrow (Yang's and Ruby's Uncle) somehow know each other, and it showed the picture of Qrow's team with Yang's and Ruby's father and both of their mothers and I thought that was cool.  I'm really excited to hear Vic Mignogna doing Qrow ooohhhhhh

*thinks while watching*: Well, that's different, starting off slow... maybe it's going to build up to something as hard edged as we usually h-OR NOT, just have Casey Williams scare the shit outta me, never mind...

 

In all seriousness: The opening was okay, while still slower than the openings for Volume 1 and Volume 2... in spite of the, uh, scenario I described above... which is a bit of a shame because that was a quality that helped make RWBY's openings stand out. Oh well.

 

Also, we get to see Qrow, Winter, Summer and Yang's deadbeat d-I mean, Taiyang. Neat. Still wondering what Summer's deal is and how she's supposed to be... you know, important. Then again, I'm wondering that for most of these people...

I really hope the full version of the song has better flow and a better buildup as opposed to, y'know, nice piano stuff interrupted by sudden screaming by that one dude, and that they just awkwardly cut it for the OP. Unfortunately that's probably not the case

For me, the mass quantities of Grimm all up in everything and the bit at the end when they're all sad and sitting in a circle and stuff were kinda weird (for lack of a much better word that I can't think of rn). Like, are things going to get drastically worse now or something?

That's just what went through my head.

I actually quite enjoy the opening. At first I didn't so much but it's grown on me. The last section seems pretty depressing though.

I've been watching since Volume 1 first came out so I hope I can possibly join in on the discussions once Volume 3 really begins soon.

Also, I think the "more characters will be added" slot has already been filled due to seeing Sun's and Neptune's teammates.

First off, I loved the opening. It's my favorite opening to the series so far. The lyrics are pretty dark and that's a start for just how dark Volume 3 is supposed to get.

 

Also noticed that after the slight mention of it, no one has mentioned the HUGE success Grimm Eclipse had on Greenlight. First of all, the game was obviously greenlit, but it was also number one on the site within an hour of going up and stayed there until it was quickly greenlit. 99% of the votes were "Yes," which is 24 times the average amount. That is really exciting news. I can say that it's steam release (still undisclosed) will be such a huge success that the console versions will have to release quickly from there.

There is going to be a RWBY Manga by Shirow Miwa that has an original story and will reveal the mystery that is hidden between the first 4 trailers back when the show was first announced, this was something I wasn't expecting and am very interesting to see what it becomes, if you want to see the official tweet here it is:
