Sorry, when people swear I tend to immediately think they're serious. Also, you're wording confused me I guess.

Its fine. I'd really like to see some more action though; the whole Team RWBY thing bumbling around is kinda getting annoying.

Took forever, but I finally finished my review! :3 Warning, spoilers!

The new students visiting look like wonderful people

They do seem rather friendly

So harsh. I thought it was amusing, showed off Blake's moodiness more clearly, and offered an in for Neptune. Besides, it's not the only anime ever to use comedy as filler, and at least it did it right. It was also just a middle between two plot heavy sequences. Action will follow, I have no doubt. Also, note I am becoming KH13's Emerald. Hope no one else wanted too, because they will be dissapointed.

With Oz becoming Mercury and me becoming Cinder, our threesome is complete

After watching that new episode, now i really want that board game... xD

After watching that new episode, now i really want that board game... xD

Like I said in my review, I believe it's just a Remnant version of Risk. And since RWBY is very popular, they might be able to actually make that board game.

RWBY is too good. I need to find somewhere where I can get the theme song.

I've been re-watching some past episodes and I've come to a couple of conclusions:

- The Grimm seem like they're falling out of the focus a little bit in new episodes. In fact, its hard to say they were ever part of the focus at all. We got some explanation to what they are but other than that, they're basically just fodder monsters for the main cast to beat up. I figured they'd have a larger role or at least they'd be hinted to have a much larger role in canon, but right now, it doesn't seem like it. And yeah I noticed that they were featured in the second opening, so they're going to be addressed, and I hope they are. We should at least be given an explanation as to why they exist in the first place coming up, other than the old "Let's throw in a random force/entity for the heroes to fight for the excuse of watching them fight." All I'm saying is that in Kingdom Hearts, the Heartless and the Nobodies and all them exist for a reason. They're not just there just because. All I'm saying...

- Weiss's status as the heiress to the Schnee Dust company is starting to get thrown to the wayside too. I mean, wasn't part of the conflict last season having to do with Torchwick stealing Dust? And wasn't one of the last battles in the season also involving Torchwick and his men stealing Dust from a Schnee owned warehouse? Yo, I didn't see Weiss even react to that happening. Then again, she wasn't really around to see it and dealing with Blake's bullshit, but really, if you're the heiress to a company like that, and one of your top products is being stolen by some prick with a cane, wouldn't you at least acknowledge while its going on? Like maybe we should have seen a scene somewhere in the middle of the season where Weiss is checking stock with the company and notices the Dust supplies are going down or some shit. Again, she's the HEIRESS to this company! And she made a pretty damn big deal out of it in her FIRST appearance! *sigh* Whatever. I'm sure her dad is shitting bricks about this though, that's for sure, meanwhile she's dealing with Team RWBY's bullshit...

And just to reitterate: this thing with Team RWBY and the others is starting to irritate me. We've got a bunch of bad guys and some important plot points being brought up, and it seems like the students are just f*cking around and waiting to be thrown into the mix. And what's worse is that crapsack Headmaster Ozpin is supporting it basically. "They're just children" they're NOT children, they're supposed to be Huntsman and Huntresses, people who are supposed to defend the entire world, people who used dangerous weapons to kill things. They should be getting their act together right about now; I can only take so many episodes of them just f*cking around and waiting for important shit to pop up so it can set up a conflict. Hopefully things will start to pick up in the future...

- I always thought the Grimm were like some sort of manifestation of darkness or something. Besides, it's not like monsters in every single show/game/whatever exist for a higher purpose. Do you ever wonder why there are random monsters roaming the fields in [insert game here]?

- Weiss is, like you said, the heiress. That doesn't necessarily mean she actually works at her father's company. I mean, she's at Beacon, so how would she be able to work? Also, as you said, she has enough on her plate with the rest of the gang.

- They are children. That's why they're still in school and not fighting as official Hunters and Huntresses. You don't send soldiers to fight in a war until their training is complete (unless other circumstances call for drastic measures). Besides, I'm sure Ozpin wouldn't want the blood of his students on his hands.

You may call them criticisms, but based on your language and such, it sounds more like you're just complaining. So you might want to work on that.

First off, I'm not complaining. I'm expressing criticism on issues that IMO should be addressed or at least given light in the future so that I can continue to enjoy this series. There's a damn difference.

Second off:

- In every game I've played, there is a reason why monsters are showing up. Not for the reasons that I've explained already. Excuse me if I want this force to be treated with some sort of thought or planning so it doesn't seem like something that was thought up in two minutes, especially when it was made clear that this creatures serve some sort of importance to the damn plot.

- LIke I explained earlier, she was raving about all of her first appearance in episode 2. She clearly has a strong respect for her family's company, especially when she went on a rant about the Schnee-Faunas conflict with Blake in episode 15. That alone should justify her having more involvement. But no, she's not. It just makes her character look stupid and her background look even stupider.

- They are NOT children. They are teenagers. Young adults. People who are not like other people who are sent to the Academy to fight monsters and defend the world. And yet we've spent most of our time watching them get caught up in typical high school shenanigans and/or acting like idiots. Everything before and during the initiations of teams was fine, but after everybody was put in a team, its like we've forgotten that we're supposed to be expecting these characters to fight evil. Where's the conflict, where's the importance, where is the credibility in these people that they are able to take on more forces than a giant raven or themselves in a food fight? Blake said it best last episode, there's something big going on and they don't know what the hell that is. Hopefully this is the transition period from wacky bullshit to seeing these characters deal with the evergrowing conflicts around them, especially when we have Cinder and her gang infiltrating the Academy, which by the way, just goes to show how crappy a Headmaster Ozpin is

I said it sounded like you were complaining, with your swearing and caps and whatnot.

- Why do Pokemon exist? Okay. But Mercury pointed out that they talked about the Grimm and stuff in the production diaries. I didn't watch those, so I apologize for my lack of information on that. But at least they have things thought out that they will reveal in the future.

- Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how having respect/pride for her family company has to equal her working there. She may have done a bit before, but you would think she would set any working aside to concentrate on their studies (when they actually are studying).

- They are still students. Just because they are in Beacon doesn't automatically make them Hunters/Huntresses. They went to Beacon so they could learn, and in the future they will be able to defend the world. One would think that high school shenanigans would be acceptable in a school. Also, the only enemies out heroes are sure about are Torchwick and the White Fang. They don't even know that Cinder and Co. are even involved in all of it. Yeah, Ruby and Glynda fought Cinder in the first episode, but they didn't even get a good look at her. Just because the audience knows she's a baddie doesn't mean everyone else in the show does. Also, Jaune got into Beacon, so why can't Cinder and Co.?

Anyway, Volume 2 just started last week, so give it some time, and I'm sure your qualms will be addressed.

THANK YOU!

- Well here's to getting some new developments then.

- Dude, its her family's business, which she obviously has a lot of pride for and is going to own someday. Some concern would be appreciated between everything else. Some.

The least they can do is show us that they're actively training or showing some concern for what lies ahead, except for that one part in the last episode with Blake and Weiss which pretty much rushed the entire thing and put it to rest right then and there, like it was insignificant; its the equivalent of a dude reading a newspaper saying "disease spreading throughout the world" and still going about his day like he doesn't care. And I'm not saying they should know things they don't know; that wouldn't make sense. They can at least acknowledge that shit is going down, like I stated earlier. Also, Jaune getting in only proves to make Ozpin look like an idiot.

Look, I'm not here to preach to the choir on how wonderful this show is, if I see something I disagree with I will voice my opinion. That goes for anything I indulge in, and just because everybody else isn't doing it doesn't mean I can't. My opinon might not fit into the majority, but it's still my opinion and I have every right to express it.

this is were we go to appreciate RWBY. please don't say negative things.

RWBY is soooo good. I mean look at how they overlay the characters! AMAZING! But seriously, you should be aware of the faults of the show. No movie show is without sin. We only criticize because we care.

Coming off of what Firaga is saying, there is a lot of getting-to-know-you stuff with team RWBY and JNPR in this season. But keep in mind that Miles and Kerry and Monty are doing this on purpose. They actually confirmed in various interviews (I'll link them under the cut) that they want the characters to grow with the audience, and have the fans relate to them. The action scenes are amazing, and, quite frankly, the icing on the cake. But Monty choreographs all of the fight scenes, so you gotta appreciate the work he put into them. You just have to be patient with the animators, they'll give us action eventually.

You have to remember this a show about teenagers in an academy. Don't expect action every second.

P.S. I do respect Firaga's opinion. I respect anybody that criticizes the show and takes it seriously. Doesn't mean I can't be a voice of reason.

These interviews are each more than an hour long, so watch them if you're really bored!!

Criticism is fine and dandy, but we should stress how we should give more constructive criticism (and not overreact about it).

Yang. Your siggy. It's so... crisp? xP I'm not sure what to call it. It reminds me of the time Sun and Neptune literally slid through those very same doors.

I've got to know them long enough and I want to see them fight more and develop instead. I know they're teenagers but they're also superhuman fighters, so there should be a balance. This isn't School Rumble or anything like that. Again, this is my opinion.

Exactly what I was trying to do.

Good lord, I saw Episode 2 of Volume 2 yesterday, and I keep on loving how Volume 2 is turning out!  As I mentioned before, I really love how much more crisper the colors and animation look, and I loved Nora's random lines in the Episode.  I frickin cracked up when she said: "Pancakes!" and "Women..."  And that card game Ruby and the gang were playing reminded me a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh! And now Cinder, Mercury and Emerald are in the school!!!  God, seriously, I frickin love Emerald!  Cinder is great too, but come on, Emerald is something else!  I can't wait for more Episodes!  And I really loved Blake's internal conflict about being a faunus, and Ozpin showed how caring he can be, but serious at the same time.  Roosterteeth, you guys have outdone yourselves. :)

I don't know if it's been said, but Weiss was off-character Episode 2. At first, I saw it as her character had developed, but even so, developed characters can stick with the same personalities. What she was doing in response to Blake just felt more like a Ruby thing to do, not a Weiss thing.

You know that this show is trying too hard to be funny when Weiss is doing shit like that.
