In KH Days it kind of explains why Roxas is able to wield two keyblades. Though in the KHFM secret trailer, it shows Riku holding Oblivion whilst he's falling, while Roxas is still sprinting up the skyscraper holding Oathkeeper and the Kingdom Key. Though that isn't explained in the game it still has me puzzled. Maybe there could be one keyblade for Roxas himself, one inherited for Xion, and the third from Sora. Ideas/Opinions on this anyone.

It could be like the keyblade of twilight or the other one, I think dawn. Cause oathkeeper and oblivion are the keyblades of light and darkness. So maybe there's a keyblade for twlight and dawn. And maybe oathkeeper is from sora. Oblivion from riku, the twlight one from xion and the dawn from roxas. Or the 4 keyblades from any of those mentioned people. I just think that there is a keyblade for twilight and dawn. Cause there's light and darkness

Technicly, what i might think to be the twighlight keyblade, would be 'Two Become One' or 'Kingdom Key-D' but that's a guess

I think that Roxas's "official" keyblade would be 'Two Become One' because it's the one that most resembles his role and stuff.

""Another side, Another story..." was meant as more of a concept trailer, showing whatever ideas Nomura had for a sequel at the time; it is not meant to be taken as an actual part of the storyline for the games. Nojima, the scenario writer, explained that, after the story for Kingdom Hearts II was written, he had to go back and find places to put in the seemingly random quotes found in both "Another side, Another story..." and "Another Side, Another Story [deep dive]" The idea of the Keyblade wielder was affixed to Roxas, and the blindfolded male is Riku. So, some scenes, including the kingdom key and mickey were cut to make sence to the history...

I'm pretty sure they're all what we saw in kh2:

kingdom key-copy of sora's-the main theme is to awaken sora and that he's half of sora, that must be why it appears first

oathkeeper-original roxas-appears after he regains memory

oblivion-inherited by xion-appears after he regains memory and as we know from days, it's deeply connected to her (riku remembers her when gripping it)

I wonder if roxas can triple-wield them, he'll be like roanoa zoro ^_^

i thought roxas ran up with oath and oblivion therw oblivion at riku riku caught it and roxas faught riku with oathkeeper

I had never noticed that before but you're right he has a thrid Keyblade there maybe it was just the one that he had always fought with before he got oathkeeper and Oblvion and he can use it sometimes but he chooses not to. Cause think about it at the end of 358/2 days he uses Oathkeeper and Oblivion but in the begining of KH2 he uses the kingdom Key and he can like swith back and forth can't he?

I heard Oathkeeper came from Xion because he told Xion he'd set Kingdom Hearts free.

Kingdom Key came from Sora because Roxas is his Nobody.

Two Become One refers to Roxas and Xion fusing together to restore his power.

Oblivion is an advanced form of Roxas' Kingdom Key due to the awakening of Ventus and the ability to use his darkness.

Xion's Keyblade is confirmed in the Days Ultimania to be fake, a sham, just like Riku said. The Keyblades Roxas is using are Sora's and Ven's. When Roxas absorbed Xion, she awakened the ability to use Ven's Keyblade, which is where he is able to dual-wield.

Also, that was a concept video. We see in the Days Deep Dive reenactment, the real representation of that event, that Roxas didn't have another Keyblade after he threw Oblivion to Riku.

Actually, from what I understand, Roxas took his own Keyblade and Xion's Keyblade and transformed them into Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Like said before, they are the Keyblades of light and darkness, but also Oathkeeper symbolizes Sora's relation to Kairi(I believe because of the promise he made her) and Oblivion likewise symbolizes Sora's relation to Riku(probably the name because of Castle Oblivion and Riku's darkness). But Xion's Keyblade was a sham, so I'm agreeing with you on Ven. Maybe that Keyblade is from Ven awakening inside of Roxas.

Dang, I'm sensing a Shakespeare pull here. Noruma can't be that smart to think up all of this by himself. xD (Or herself? I never really found out -_-)

Because Nomura doesn't think of everything himself. There's also the scenario team that helps him, well, create the scenario. Interestingly enough, almost the entirety of the being known as Xion was created by scenario writer Tomoko Kanemaki, who writes the novels.

Well, I figured that, but he's the one that started this whole thing. But still, it takes a whole lotta work from a whole lotta people to create a story this in depth and with so many trapdoors, loopholes, and crawlspaces.

My guess is Nomura and his team of mad scientists were brainwashed by aliens.

Seeing as how Nomura admitted that Sora is the kid he always wanted to be, and how Kanemaki said that she came up with the idea for Xion, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the future characters were other self-inserts of the development team.

That's actually pretty cool. It actually makes the games deeper on a level, more personal. Maybe that's why friendship and memories are so amplified in this series?

I still say it was aliens

why does he throw oblivion any way

why does he throw oblivion any way

Here's a direct quote from the Scenario Interview in the Days Ultimania.

-- When Roxas tries to do what Xion has asked of him, Riku hears Xion

Maybe the third Keyblade, kingdomkey,(the one he uses in the beginning of the game),was disposed for the moment and Roxas could wield Oathkeeper and Oblivion because of the determination of avenging Xion and finding Sora. That's why in the beginning of KH2,he return to wield kingdomkey, and in the end, when his memories returned,he could wield oathkeeper and oblivion again. But that's just my opinion...

What? No, we see him transform Ven's and Sora's Keyblades in the form of Kingdom Keys into Oathkeeper and Oblivion during the Deep Dive reenactment in Days. There is no third Keyblade.

The KK he used in the virtual Twilight Town, was like the town, virtual. It's kinda implied that it's fake by it's appearance; a normal KK wouldn't appear in such a data-y manner. Having regained his memories, he was able to summon his real Keyblades during the battle with Axel.
