Xehanort didn't lose his heart in the KG..He transfered it to another body- Terra .There is a difference. Then as AX he actually did lose his heart there in RG..Also MX didn't reform into his throne , he portaled there .

Well KH has lots of holes cause they haven't still explained some thing that's why we need prequels b4 sequels

Master Xehanort shouldn't have even been the one to return if it was Terranort's heartless and nobody that were destroyed. I wouldn't even attempt to answer this question until we know why he returned separate from Terra. That said I don't think it will make sense even after kh3.

It is deliberately left open like that, as Nomura wanted it to remain a mystery. However it is highly likely that Master Xehanort's heart has completely engulfed Terra's heart shaping his body to look like the old man.

Maybe they knew about being re-completed if they would die ( i doubt ienzo knows that he had a heart as a nobody , maybe lea told him during kh 3d ) but really... who wants to suicide:P After all they might be even been the first special nobodies and werent sure about this. Not even yen sid knew they had hearts. 

 

Also old xehanort is definitely from the present for he knows a bit too much. Why dont know why xehanort was revived there. If you remember carefully, ienzo s explanation s last word was OR.... and then lea said : i get it.

Best answer ! Yeah Xehanort did not lose his heart at the big fight at the graveyard. He vesseled Terra so he can live to make sure his long-lasting plan will be completed . And how he did that ? Destroyed everyone at the Radiant Garden,took his teacher's name Ansem to keep his identity secret.However he failed afterwards with his heartless AND nobody . But he made sure that his plan won't fail too. He kept his young self ready so he can continue and then as everyone did in the organization the real Xehanort revived....STILL having Terra in his heart .......

why would he do that? im not trying to be rude, but i think a xehanort report said that he wanted to take terra's body to have a young body. well if he is in a young body, but with an old appearance maybe he can move like YMX...

He needed the youth of a younger body not the appearance per se .He wanted to be around to see the likes of a keyblade war and Kingdom Hearts .He figured he would die before he would ever see it happen thats why he needed a younger body- not bc he wanted to look young..If his heart has engulfed /and or taken over terra's he would have his younger body but could keep his identity so to speak .( since the heart shapes the vessel)
