4. Poor Advertisements to make the Vita worth purchasing.

 

5. Its PSN user account system sucks compared to the PS3's user account system.

The system hasn't even been out a year yet, Of course it's not going to do as well. Give it some time. The 3DS started out with a high price point and didn't have that much good games either.

And it had very few good games for it even though it's been out for years. So we can already tell that the Vita is another "PSP"

These are quite true. I think with time they may hopefully turn the vita towards the right direction though.

give it time. not everything can succeed overnight. and maybe there will be a kh game for vita.

Most of those are pretty bad reasons:

 

1. The price point would be ok if it included something like a 8GB memory card, but that price drop this year (also the occasional sales recently) should help with that issue. (Agree now, maybe disagree later in the year)

 

2. I can name quite a few excellent titles that are out for the Vita: Gravity Rush, LittleBigPlanet, Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, Ninja Gaiden Sigma+, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, (this is more of a personal opinion) and Persona 4: Golden. (oh god, yes) There's also Soul Sacrifice (which might be PS3/Vita now) and Sly 4 (PS3/Vita) coming out this year, and E3 to maybe save the day. (Disagree)

 

3. Judging a system based of off a obviously bad (and 4 month developed) game is pretty bad. (Disagree)

 

4. The advertisements are bad and maybe cheesy, but that doesn't mean the system is bad not one bit. (Disagree)

 

5. Agreed completely. Although I'll only ever need one account on it (unless I get into importing), it's pretty stupid. I think something like this would be patchable though. (Agree)

"And it had very few good games?" the psp had very few good games? The psp had a bunch of good games. The psp has sold plenty of systems so you can't say it's a failure.

Yeah this is one of the things I have always wondered.. "PSP has lack of good games" I have pretty big collection of PSP games and most of them are really good games. I agree that Vita has had hard time and has only about 10 interesting games right now, but if future of Vita is anything like PSP's it should get better in future. 

And Sony could boost Vitas sales by dropping PSP down and starting to release more games for it. 

 

And please don't start any PS Fanboys VS any other system fanboys war here.

the creator told gameinformer he wont make one for the vita could it would be the same as makeing a game for a counsel the system in most people eye's is to powerfull to much like a counsel so they try not to make games for it

 

also thos reasons are your opions there not the real reasons everone sees it differntly i mean in my view i see that the 3ds failed to me there arint many games on it that i want cause most of them seemed to be remakes again and i have my sweet nes and n64so yeah. but there is only one vita game i dont want and thats call of duty.besides  out of all that japan gave us cause if you go on playstation's jap site they actually have a shit load of games on the vita out there we just dont have them

I don't see the point in getting one.  Unless there's some Vita exclusive that I can't pass up, chances are I'm never going to get one.  (And honestly, what are the chances of something coming to the Vita that's not on the PS3?)

PS2 and PS3 first years barley had anything, now look at library of games that those systems have.

 

Here's list of some good Vita games: Persona 4 Golden, Dokuro, LittleBigPlanet, Gravity Rush, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, Escape Plan, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Super Stardust Delta, Rayman Origins, Lumines: Electronic Symphony, Sound Shapes.

 

From hardware side Vita is much more powerful than 3ds but Nintendo has better handle on how to sell systems and developers to work on said systems. While price is still big issue and i do think a price drop is needed for Vita to survive, you should remember that 3ds had price drop as well.

I'm not sayng it's a bad console. It's just too expensive to buy right now, and I think Vita has many great games yet to come. So we'll see what the future brings.

Imo (being an unbiased gamer) i just think that its going to have a similar life cycle to the PSP. Its just that Sony does alot of stoopid stuff for some reason and think people will just throw their money at them, like the PSP Go or wateva that waste of space was called. I have high hopes for the Vita its just that no developer wants to puts too many resources into making a GOOD game for a system that's currently struggling.

So far the only good game I heard the Vita have is Persona 4 Golden. I heard the game is a huge deal, it sucks because it's only for the Vita.

I have a Vita! This is what I play! Final Fantasy 7, Gex, Grandia, Midievil, Rayman, Reyman 2, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Tekken, and Threads of Fate! I'd play Crash and Spyro too if they were on vita!... Oh wait I guess I play Dynasty Warriors Next too, but that's just Dynasty warriors 7 with gimmicks. 

Where were you guys on Black Friday? They were selling a Vita Wi-fi + 4GB memory card + a FREE 3 months subscribition to PS Plus for ***<("200$")>*** only...
