Lol yeah, there does seem to be a lot of the 'own and battle creatures' thing around now. I'm not complaining 'cause I generally enjoy that kind of thing in games, but...

 

Is it just me, or does the main character in these things almost always look similar to the others?

Compare Max from Dinosaur King, with that brown haired guy you see in the vid. And the Bakugan guy. And iirc, the Digimon guy too. They always seem to have brown spiky hair and be around that age.

 

I do find it funny that you mentioned Pokémon and Dinosaur King though. Both Ash (from the old series) and Max (the main charrie in DK) have the same voice actor.

The battle creatures arnt necessarily creatures..... their demons lol. Everything you saw are demons, it's not a game it's a anime. The game was made later after the anime. All I know is that Atlas must been one desperate bitch back then.

Nothin' wrong spiky brown hired anime/video game protagonists Xalaru. (Sora)  I live in a dry climate and because of that my hair, which is also brown, looks like something out of an anime almost every morning when I wake up and brushing just makes it worse. It's not exactly short either, its long enough that you wouldn't think it could stand up like that with just static and no gel.

Btw the Digi-protag your talking about depends on the season. Taichi/Tai, Davis/Daisuke, Takato, Mikey/Taiki and Tagiru all have that hair Tagiru also has a red flame like pattern. Takuya wore a hat so we didn't really see the top of his hair but the bottom looked flared out. Marcus/Masaru is the only one who wasn't spikey. It's gotta be the goggles. I bet they emit a steady flow of static electricity to keep the hair like that. No goggles=no hair spikes.

This anime was no where near child friendly . Oh God I wonder what this teaches the children who watched this lol.

Lol, Japan has a strange sense of what "child-friendly" even means. An attempt was made. Heck, I enjoyed Digimon and I like the SMT series otherwise... I'd pirate it just to curiously watch it. But seriously, it's not the next anything. I mean, even Monster Rancher had a better run and barely anyone remembers that.

They're completely different. Pokemon and Digimon are actually good.

Unfortunately,while Digimon Animes were good(except for one horrible movie) the Digimon video games were absulote failiure with the exception of Digimon Rumble Arena 1 & 2 those games were very good,oh and also Yuji Naka's Digimon game on psp

Wow, the character in red is VERY SIMILAR from the one in Dinosaur King. 

Yeah, these shows are kinda similar, and all tend to copy each other, but I liked Pokemon and Digimon. They were kinda repetitive, and I don't watch as much as I used to, but I still enjoy them.

Even though i don't like Dinosaur King (just not interested) and Bakugan (it copied WAT TOO MUCH stuff from other shows, it's all based on the others)

Also,just to let people know,Pokemon was first released in japan in 1995 both the games and the Anime(That's why the Episode electric Soldier Porygon was never aired overseas because the episode was banned in Japan)

 

Digimon came waaay after Pokemon was released in America and the rest of the world.

Seriously, I wouldn't usually watch vids but since it was in Random I was able to bitch about something trivial to get a post, thanks to you informing me that going off-topic is the point of Random. Personally I feel the chicken came first as it wouldn't need a heat source to survive, but that subscribes to creationism or at least that the chicken just showed up randomly. I don't believe in such, but believeing that an egg somehow got enough warmth on it's own without a mother is pretty far-fetched too. Yourself?
