I've been thinking about this for a bit. Summons haven't been in kh games since kh2 so we haven't really seen them in a while. Do you think summon spells will make a return in future kh games? I personally think so. They were a pretty great and fun gameplay element in the past imo so a return of them would be nice. I enjoyed the summons for not only getting cameos of disney characters they couldn't fit into worlds in the games but also their uniqueness for each summon. It is quite possible that they could return them for kh3. Who knows.

 

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this?

yes i would love for summons to return. Also add in non-disney summons too

as much as i loved using it in kh2, i dont think they'll bring summons back in kh3 but they might in future games

I'm sorry but I want a Final Fantasy summon so bad.

They have in the other two main titles, so I think they might as well do it in the third, if only for the balance. Brave Little Toaster for KHIII!!!

Indeed. We could definitely use some from FF or even Twewy if they decide to bring that back.

They were originally going to do Bahamut for kh1 so the chances of a ff summon are good, I think.

Most likely in Kingdom Hearts III they'll come back.

I believe that Bahamut didn't make it in Kingdom Hearts because it would have crashed the game from sheer awesomeness.

Preach it brother! With all the awesomeness of KH1, adding Bahamut would have pushed the awesome meter too far. 'Tis sad but true.

I sure hope they do. They could use it for Disney owned characters that otherwise wouldn't work in KH, such as Yoda and Iron Man.
