Really? It didn't always seem like that

There were only a couple incidents where I thought he was sort of rude to her, but I think it was overall because he cared about her and didn't want her getting hurt.  If you're referring to the scene where he forces her back, I don't think he ever intended on hurting her.  Axel was just going to do whatever it took to bring her back, to keep her from a worse fate basically.  But, really, I've never viewed him as cruel toward Xion.

Yeah, I never considered Axel, Roxas, and Xion a "trio" it has always been two intersecting "duos" to me.

I would be rude to Xion too... she was annoying just being honest...

I have a feeling the HD Remix version of 358/2 Days will make us see the true relationship between Axel, Roxas and Xion more clearly. Just watching the scenes in the trailer shows that Axel did have genuine concern for her, even if his methods for trying to save her were occasionally harsh.

There have been points where Axel was icy to her, but they were all in relation to her finding or attempting to find out the truth of her origin.  Axel is a guy who's willing to do dirty stuff if it means getting things done, but he's also the guy who stuck up for her to Saix, like helping her out when she couldn't use her keyblade.  Days's graphics were pretty limited so you couldn't notice facial expressions and tone of voice, so how certain things were said were unclear.  1.5 will correct that.

This pretty much sums it up.Off-topic: I must know where you found that pic of xion?! TELL ME!!!!

He was trying to keep anything bad from happening to her.  She was trying to find who she was and then she was trying to decide whether or not she should go back to Sora. She knew what the right choice was and Axel was trying to stop her, and later Roxas too, from disappearing.  He always looks out for his friends.

"Go on, you just keep running. But I'll always be there to bring you back!" < I think that shows he cares ^_^

You don't happen to mean Saix do you?

If not:

Roxas: Hey Xion, why don't you come back with us

Xion: *raises keyblade*

Me: Violence is not the answer but you have to fire with fire (or fight with fight in this case)

Point made I hope. Aside from that I don't see what you mean by him being mean to her.

i still think he is mean..i got it from google. ^_^

Seriously did you play all of Days and read the secret reports ? Because if you did I doubt you would still be saying that . If anything Xion was being a jerk at times to both Roxas and Axel . She ran away from both of them and wouldn't tell them why. She raised her keyblade to both Axel and Roxas. She never went to either of them about why she was acting like that.. She confided In Riku and Namine - two people she didn't even know but froze out her best friends. At least when Axel kept secrets it was bc he didn't want them all to end up destroyed and wanted to save them all.. Axel stuck up for her to Saix, tried to spare her life, took a blow from both Roxas and Xion in Halloween Town so they wouldn't accidently hurt/kill each other, kept trying to bring her back so she wouldn't end up destroyed. Need I go on ? Basically Axel did know the truth about her but feared if she knew things would go to shit and he would lose her and Roxas. He didn't want that but also didn't know what to say or do about the whole situation so he would sometimes act awkward but never mean. He did what he had to to try to preserve the trios friendship despite everything working against him... All three of them made mistakes in their handling of the situation . It was a very complicated predicament to say the least .

I think it was more of tension than actual meanness. They're Nobodies, after all. Especially Axel. Their interactions could seem complicated...

Bros over H**s.

He distanced himself from her a lot because he knew if he got attached he would eventually get hurt. Not to mention the fact the Organisation would use her to test where his loyalties lie.
