The next saga; the future of Kingdom Hearts.

Posted

I think they should fastforward like ten years, because for some reason I REALLY want them to mature past what we've been seeing for 10+ years anyways. It'd be pretty interesting for the series to mature so much.

But keeping it around the same timeline would be ok too. What do you think they'll do? I'm assuming KH 4 will leave off pretty much directly after KH 3 because of the new enemy, but I'd love for them to make another drastic time gap for the new saga, because it'll differentiate the two sagas much better imo.

Thoughts?

I think 1 year later is good enough. Dont want them aging too fast.

maybe. but not more than 2 years at max.

I dont want them to became much older than that.

Same, if only so that the VA's aren't fighting their vocal cords constantly. Still, I don't see them being any older than Terra or Aqua's age.

that wouldnt do to much aqua and ven didnt age to much over 10 years

A couple years later would be great

We're already talking about KH4 haha? One thing at a time we don't even know that much about KH3 yet lol!~

But on a serious note, I think 10 years is a bit too much, maybe a couple years or around Terra and Aqua's age like stated already would be more reasonable.

I will always like Kingdom Hearts, so as long as the story they make is good, I will love it.

I think that the fast forward should be, like, 5 years, though.

No. it wouldn't make sense.

How would that not make sense? They're going to grow up anyways, what WOULDN'T make sense if they just stayed the same age forever because they in fact, do age. It'd just be cool to see what they do when they're at said age. But yeah them being young still works too like I said.

It wouldnt make sense because why would they wait 10 firetrucking years before they do anything. like really, i'm pretty sure it will start off at the most 1 year after DDD

Because they could easily just have it to where after Sora kills Xehanort, all was right in the universe until 10 years later... :/

maybe 1 or 2 years but not 10 O.o

1 or two years as much... i think...

2-3 Years would be cool. I'd love to see an 18-19yo Sora, tall & buffed out after puberty.

I don't think any of us can even fathom a guess as to what Nomura has planned. We have literally nothing to go on until after KH3 has been released.

No, there's a certain charm that comes with playing with characters that are still essentially children. I don't think even Nomura liked aging the characters as much as he did, hence, the constant recycling of younger! SRK instead of using their older models. There's just a certain "timelessness" when you try to keep your characters looking consistent but there's only so much he can do now, except not have them age too much further than they already have.

KH4 will probably take place a few months to a year after KH3.
