When watching any of the Star Wars movies, which are your favorite parts: the lightsabre duels, or the space dogfights?

 

I always like the dogfights better. It was cool to see all the different kinds of ships, how each one was differently designed. And with that many ships and lasers flying around, they always just felt epic (correct use of the word!), like something really grand was happening on the screen.

 

Also, "Stay on target!"

Lightsaber duels. Especially with a dramatic scene following it owo

I like the Space Battles better. Lightsaber Duels are the same as swordfighting but this time the swords glow. Though Anakin vs Obi-Wan in Episode 3 was a really intense fight, much better than any space battle in the movies.

Also funfact: The signature sound of Tie Fighters is based off of the siren that Nazi Stuka dive bombers make as they make their dive. Just another one of things that basically made Star Wars World War 2 INNNNN SPAAAAACE

I'm gonna have to go with lightsaber battles though, just because it's up close and easier to follow.

BUT!  Space dogfights tend to have more explosions (screw you, physics!), and explosions are cool, soooo...

Lightsaber Duels

Light Saber duels. Dogfights have always been pretty boring to me.

Lightsaber duels, totally. I enjoy a space battle every once in a while, but duels are more personal.

 

 

 

Not to mention that you don't have to worry if the new Death Star is... "fully operational..." *evil smile*
