February 28, 201312 yr Video games taught me that if you have long silvery hair and sport a blindfold, chicks (and even some dudes) can grow to SERIOUSLY dig you. Video games are lifes greatest teachers. ..... i'm sure they taught me other things too. Liiiike.... Ghosts are, somehow, afraid of the dark as well as the light dispite practicly thriving in it. I learned that from Pokemon. (Dark>Ghost. Ghost is weak to dark defencively....yeah o-o) Yeahhhh....I don't got much else. .... oh yeah. Shorts are comphey and easy to wear. =P Edited February 28, 201312 yr by ~DawnStar2004~

February 28, 201312 yr Civilization 5 helped me learn a lot of new World Wonders. And then on a History test, there was an E.C. for listing the World Wonders. I was overjoyed.
February 28, 201312 yr video games taugt me how sniper rifles are the best guns out there, especially during a zombie apocalypse
February 28, 201312 yr Splinter cell has actually improved my sneaking abilities, and Kingdom hearts taught me about friendship!
February 28, 201312 yr I actually learned some things from that game as well: "The consultant, Thomas Deer of the Kanien’kehá:ka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkwa Language and Cultural Center, helped steer Ubisoft Montreal away from errors. When the team asked about including ceremonial masks in the game, Deer warned them that any visual depiction of the sacred masks is considered offensive. He advised them on which types of clothing and jewelry to use and which types of spiritual music were off-limits. Even Connor’s name had to be cleared for use–in Mohawk culture, each name must be unique–and Ubisoft’s lawyers agreed not to trademark it."
February 28, 201312 yr Heroes of the Pacific taught me a lot about WWII, mostly the Pacific War between the US and Japan. Pokemon taught me that as long as you have a yellow mouse you are forever ten. And you can never tell the girl you like THAT YOU LIKE HER. Kingdom Hearts actually teaches a lot of good virtues, like how powerful friendship can be. Oh. And InFAMOUS and Mass Effect taught me being an jerk can only really work in a few ways  EDIT: And the Assassins Creed thing. it is pretty educational actually, if you think about it; you could devote a few classes on how the game takes history and skews it for fun, and how one could come to such conclusions. It would be a neat exercise imo. Edited February 28, 201312 yr by Oathkeeper136
February 28, 201312 yr I wouldn't say a game taught me something life changing, it showed me stories that showcased morals and virtues I already knew. I play them 'cause I enjoy them, not for an epiphany (:

While it translates to 'Dark' in English, Dark Type in Japanese essentially means evil/bad/trickster type. So really, ghosts are afraid of evil. Demons and such maybe? That's why Dark is weak to Fighting– Fighting is essentially the 'Light' or Justice Type, which would counter evil.Anyway, I can't say I've LEARNED anything from videogames, but KH has sure as heck made my life better.
