So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Hazimie still continuing his walking through the jungle and he arrived at some sort a Temple."This is looks suspicious..."Hazimie said as he has no worry and enter the Temple all by himself.At inside,Hazimie saw a hieroglyphs of many people who posses unbelievable power."This people....no doubt about it..."Hazimie said as suddenly,a few of androids appear and began to attack Hazimie."Heh,now this is what i talking about...."Hazimie said as he begins to turn up his music and began attacking the androids...

Ren swung the door open to find...

 

to find the warehouse... empty. Barren, even. There was nothing in the entire huge area, except in the very center of the warehouse. In the center was a single pedestal with a blue button atop it. The warehouse was deadly quiet.

The first android sprinted with inhuman speed at Hazimie, but at the last moment leaped in the air, coming down on him....

 

(As a note, Hazimie, while I want everyone to have as much control over how their character's story is told as possible, there are specific things about the tests and the story that I'm planning to implement, so just be sure not to over-assume anything about the tests or the plot.)

Yumi nodded."You heard Xi. Letsa gooo~" She said.

She rubbed her eyes. "I just want to get this over with." She added.

"I just...want to go home." She whispered.

Xander closed his eyes, warming up his mind

 

[Here we go] He thought, getting a little excited

 

[but.. Fulmen hasn't had sufficient rest, I gotta keep a close eye out for him, I had no idea using his power took such a toll]

 

[Not just Fulmen, I gotta make sure everyone is safe] He was determined to keep everyone safe, these feelings came from years of being captain of the basketball team, he felt he had to look out for everyone

 

The courage he used to only feel the court suddenly rose up inside of him

 

"Ya!!' He said in response to Yumi's shout, though he had not heard her whisper

Tsuna walked in and looked around. There was absolutely nothing but the small pedestal at the center of the room. She walked more closely to it to see there was a blue button on it. Oh dammit, she thought, more buttons; what will happen if we don't click it. She looked around again to see what might pop up if she were to click it but found nothing. She looked back at the others for their input on the situation

(Omigod I have been without Internet for the past day. A box broke off from a pole, and our phone and Internet went down. Sigh.)

 

Neisan was still boiling with anger over Sikota's death. But there was nothing to do but press onward. "Actually, I can use that." Neisan took the gun from Ren, and after ten minutes he had rigged it to fire lasers. "Got me a laser rifle now. It'll be good for long range shooting." With that, Neisan stepped into the warehouse. The blue button looked dangerous, but he knew they had to press it to continue with the trials. "Okay, who wants to press that thing?"

Ren met Tsuna's quizzical glance.  She was hesitant to press the button on the pedestal, as was he.  It was hard to say what would happen once they pressed it, but Ren wasn't foolish enough to assume there would be no repercussions for doing so.

 

"Let's not all stand together," he said finally.  "I'll be over by the door.  Neisan and Kilek, you guys go to the opposite ends of the warehouse.  Be ready to strike at anything.  And, Tsuna"--his somber eyes shifted to her as he nodded firmly--"you hit the button.  Be ready."

 

And with that Ren crossed back to the front door, his boots clicking softly on the tile floor.

"Eh...okay" She said and watched everyone back up into their positions. Aw, why do i have to click it, she thought and got closer to the pedestal.  Tsuna stared at the blue button and hesitated for a moment then clicked it with a finger. She took a step back from the pedestal, physically and mentally prepared, and waited...

Neisan braced himself as he saw Tsuna press the button. His primary weapons warmed up with a slight hum and glow. His mega laser remained in its rest position but began warming up too, with a much louder hum and brighter glow.

Ren's back rested against the warehouse door, body tense and alert.  One hand was wrapped around the metal gun at his belt.  He was also ready to use any amount of wind to propel any target away, or send a gust to bring Kilek, Neisan, or Tsuna to safety if need be.  Heart hammering in his chest and ringing in his ears, there was nothing the auburn-haired teen could do but wait.

"Idiots. Absolute idiots. Do you really think that I want to be left alone in the woods with Karu and Locke? No. Take me with you!" Rasiel demanded, quickly shape-shifting into her stuffed rabbit form.

"I don't take up that much space. Karu, get Locke, he is coming with us, it doesn't matter if he doesn't want to come, he is coming with us!" she demanded, leaping onto Yumi's head and sitting down.

She was a rather small stuffed rabbit in this form, weighing only about the weight of a thick, paperback magna.

"Yes Rasiel..." Karu side, grabbing Locke's arm, he shoved Locke in the back seat, Karu finding him a seat near Yumi to watch his slavedriver sister.

"Hey Yumi-san. Don't let your boyfriend kill us." Rasiel said with a smirk, she was reffering to Fulmen.

"I uh...sure." Yumi said slowly. 

"Ermh. Let's go now. And trust me I wasn't going to let anyone stay behind." She told Rasiel.

"It's wasn't even five minutes up the road. So don't get to used to sitting." She added.

Kilek took his postion with Neisan at the other end of the ware house, he held the sniper in his hand with a tight grip. he'd only ever shot a gun once, he didn't what he'd be shooting at, but he hoped it wasnt another person.

 

Kilek steeled his nerves and looked to Tsuna, " We're ready when you are"

An afterglow of redness shot past Joshua's eyelids as he slept on.the ground beside an ominous temple. Joshua merely grumbled, turning to the side into a pile of dirt... "Gah! What-- where am I?" Joshua quickly jolted up, brushing off every square inch of dirt he could. He shivered a little bit, with some dirt chilling his upper neck. Flicking it off, he began to look around. "Where am I anyway? There's a lot of dirt and mud around here...." Joshua said, walking onto some grass. "And what's this?" Joshua questioned to apparently no one around but himself, seeing the large and ominous temple. He sighed, but decided to walk in.

"She's not my girlfriend..." Fulmen muttered. "But wait, if it's only about 5 minutes by driving, then it shouldn't take too long for us to walk. Why not do that? It'll be easier that way...and you don't have to worry about me fainting while driving." Fulmen said, looking to Yumi, then Rasiel.

"But if everyone's that tired, I'll drive the short distance." Fulmen said, shaking his head as he yawned. Com on, just stay awake a few more minutes. I can do this. He thought, trying to pull himself together.

"I'll drive for you" Xander said to Fulmen

"I have my license and I feel rested"

Hazimie attack the androids one by one and he also manages to avoid the android's attack."Looks like i really have to use my attack...."Hazimie said as he begins to use his power."Blutz Wave!"Hazimie casting the Wave around him and most of the androids are in a bad shape when their bodies are electrocuting.However,one of the android still can resist and attack Hazimie from behind but Hazimie managed to dodge."So you're the leader.....good,show me what you got..."Hazimie said as he begins to turn up his new music and begins to attack the android leader...

Joshua pushed open the large door to the temple and walked in tiringly. "Hey is anyone--" Joshua stopped and ducked, the first thing he sees is someome sending a wave of energy across several robots. "Gah, nevermind!" He exclaimed, scurrying over to a small corner by an android. "Maybe I should help him. Wait...." Joshua said to himself, looking at the electrocuted robot and seeing a bit of print on the arm. It was faded, but I could make out the first words. It just said 'Android no.'with the rest unreadable. "These aren't just robots...but androids. If they were made from people...I can't just kill them. But I can't heal machines either...."

"I am not tierd. Karu could carry me. Right Karu?" Rasiel asked with the slightly more robotic side of her voice.

"I could carry her...But that would be unsafe...I mea—" "What do you mean UNSAFE?!" Rasiel cut her brother off.

"You carry me all the time, so. Carry me." she demanded, hopping onto Karu's head.

Karu sighed, snapping his finger, he electrocuted Rasiel.

Rasiel kicked Karu with her small, unaffected stuffed animal foot, hopping onto Fulmen's head this time.

"Drive because I will kill you for being mean to me." she snapped, sitting herself down.

Rasiel in her uneffective stuffed-rabbit form, threating to kill someone...doesn't she have some issues.

"Rasiel you need to give him a chance." Yumi warn her.

She sighed."It's not okay to be bossy." She said.

"So please just give him a chance." She said.

Fulmen blinked, "I...uh, don't think it's safe for me to drive...and uh, what did I do?!" Fulmen asked, completely confused, unsure if Rasiel meant Karu, or him. He looked up, seeing a bit of her fluffy bunny form upon his head.

"C-can we either just walk, or find someone who can drive?" Fulmen asked, looking back to Xander. "If you want to, you can...I guess. I'm not the leader here; but I can tell you've got more energy than I do."

"You are not the boss of me. You cannot tell me what to do. You cannot boss me around. I barely know you Yumi. Just go away! Leave me alone!" Rasiel yelled, jumping out of the car and changing into her human form. Karu's eyes widen and he sighed.

"Dont worry Yumi. You are not the one who is causing her to act like this. You will learn eventually. Don't worry about what Rasiel says." Karu said forgivingly, using his technonesis to drag Rasiel in a small space beside him.

'It is just her past...our past...the thing I can't tell anyone until I am taking my last breaths...' Karu thought, hugging his sister.

Thank god for empathy.

Hazimie defeated the android's leader and he began to take a break."Man,this is just too easy...."Hazimie said as he begin to sat down for a break."I wish for more exciting challenges....well,no harm in looking..."Hazimie said as he then saw a boy  (Joshua) around the corner."This is suprise...."Hazimie said as he then approach to him."Tell me....what brings you here?"Hazimie said to the boy...

"Look I'm sorry I just rather be home or at work or anywhere." Yumi said.

She sighed. "I just don't want any harsh feeling,okay." She said.

"Fully..? Don't you like me?" She asked.

Seeing as how this man [Hazimie] just tore through quite a few androids, Joshua wasn't exactly in his most comfortable feeling right now. Be stumbled backwards nervously and looked up at him. "Um...I don't know...I just woke up here...." Joshua mumbled. He stood up, not much over half of the man's height, but still, he stood up. He looked back down though, at a dying android. It may have been full robot now...but.it used to be human....
