So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Robert rolled his eyes. Evoryone had decided to pack into one of the jeeps, while he sat alone in the other. [Well at least I know who the odd man out is] he thought. He then started his jeep, and began driving to the temple.

 

In seemingly no time at all, he was standing in front of the temple, He heard some voices coming from inside, so he stepped in.

 

Inside, he saw two people talking to each other (Hazimie and Joshua).

Joshua thought about it for hardly a moment. Not.a very tough decision when you're lost and clueless. "Uh...sure. I can fight I guess, but I'm not going to be killing anyone...." Joshua said to the man, hearing a jeep park outside. "And, um...my.name's Joshua...Akira." Joshua decided to greet himself. "Someone else is coming here too...."

"I see,nice to meet you Joshua,my name's Hazimie..."Hazimie said to Joshua as he knows someone was watching them."I know you're in there,show yourself.....i heard 3 meters from here...."Hazimie said to the guy who's watching them...

"Yes." Fulmen replied to Yumi, "I do like you."

He sighed, looking away. His face was flushing with red, and it wasn't something he wanted people to see. Especially not know. Fulmen was trying to build his own disposition, and it seemed it was being torn down to make way for other things.

"But...uh...eh..." Fulmen stammered, his mind boggled, unsure of what his next words should be.

"Sure, I can drive!!" He said as he saw Robert driving off

"Crap, hold up Robert, we can't all fit in one!!" Xander had to shout

 

Xander overheard the exchange between Yumi and Fulmen

 

He turned their direction, eyes wide, A slight smile taking over his mouth

 

[Hee hee, this is getting good!!]

After Tsuna clicked the button a quiet pervaded the empty warehouse. After a few moments, speakers built into the ceiling began to come to life. A voice came to life. The quality was very similiar to the tape they had heard earlier, but the voice was far different, older.

 

"We're closing down this island now. This is the last recording of Dr. James Roddenberg, Island head scientist. The second world war is over, and a great deal is thanks to our work.  Houston, West, Yurick, and the rest. We used them, and their powers, but because of it, they turned the tide of the war for us. Two years ago I didn't know people with powers existed, and look at me now, I created an island to test all of their powers, to see if they were truly as good as we needed them to be, to see if they were really destined to help us win this. Well, we did it. We ruined their lives, we used them, but they did it. I don't even know how they were able to manage behind enemy lines, most of them were practically kids still. I don't know if what we did was right, and nobody will ever know about them, but we got results. Maybe one day we will be able to talk openly about those with powers, and what they do for us, for what they did for us. But not now. For now, all I can do it close this island down for good."

 

The speakers cut off. Xi was quick to chime in before any comment could be made. "James. A. Roddenberg. It's disgusting, isn't it? You heard the tape before, the one that James Houston made. They used him over 60 years ago, in World War II. They used him and all the rest like they were tools. Contrary to Roddenberg's hope, though, this island must be opened, so that men like him never do such things again. Men like him strangle your abilities, they confine you in their world of normal-ness. It's time for you to escape from all of that. Speaking of which...."

 

Xi's voice cut off, and a much more sinister sound replaced it. All around the warehouse sounds of machinery could be heard approaching. The doors all were sealed with several layers of metal blast doors before anyone could react. Then all the machinery stopped once they seemed just outside the walls. Within a moment a huge clang sounded out in the warehouse. One of the side walls bent inward at a terribly unnatural angle. Then another huge clang, and the other wall shot inward. A third and fourth clang left all the walls of the warehouse dented inward, and then one hit the roof as well. More clangs, and the walls bent and broke inward. 

 

"Five wrecking balls are now outside, and withing minutes this building will be reduced to nothing. The walls are strong, but not inescapable, welcome to your next test."

 

Xi's voice drifted way with the sound of heavy clangs and creaking and breaking metal. There wasn't much time to spare.

Robert, Joshua, and Hazimie sat in what was sort of an entry room in the temple, hieroglyphics surrounded them on the walls, of oddly drawn people with lightning, fire, water coming from their hands. With people floating, people running, people with curvy lines coming from them, hurting all around them. These were all drawing of people... with powers. From the entry room, where all the androids lay destroyed, was a single hallway that lead deeper underground to some unknown room.

Dammit, Tsuna thought and started to panic, and what was that whole tape about...will that be our fate soon? I can't worry about that right now. They were about to be crushed under a huge heap of rubble. Tsuna frantically looked around for a small area that wasn't be busted inward by a wrecking ball. She took a few steps back quickly from  getting hit by parts of the wall that was starting to scatter. Come on, she thought, how does one use fire in this situation?!

Yumi sighed. "Let me out, I'll walk." She said.

"I'd like to go anyway." She said.

"So,Fully can you come?"She asked.

(Sorry guys, I thought you were all already packed in.)

 

Robert steped out from the shadows and introduced himself, "Hey guys, my name's Robert, nice to meet you." He then glanced at the destroyed androids. Whoever these guys were, they knew how to fight. "Would you guys mind if I joined you? There's strength in numbers, after all."

A black, winged figure burst through the trees. "I thought I smelled fresh meat." He said. He looked at his targets, two young men, a young woman, and a little girl. There were others but they didn't appeal to him. "Why hello there." He said, appearing in front of Karu before stabbing his hand into his side and sending him flying.

Hazimie then heard a noise from a far,and it was an androids again."Sure,you may join.....because i'm guessing we really need strength and all...."Hazimie said as he was right when the androids suddenly approach and surrounding them."Don't let your guard down....not even one bit,oh by the way,name's Hazimie and the other one is Joshua,for the first tip about me,you should plug your ears...."Hazimie said as he then turn up his music and prepare to attack along with Robert and Joshua...

The three remaining androids came from deeper within the temple and charged headlong at the group.

 

(Two notes to make; 1) Sikota, be sure that Crow doesn't hamper the group's progression too badly, I mean they've been at the same place for quite a while already. 2) This will the last wave of androids for now.)

"I...don't see why not." Fulmen said, walking a bit to keep in pace with Yumi. He turned at the sound of a noise, seeing a winged being having flown in, and stabbed Karu right in the side. "Yumi!" Fulmen shouted, looking to her in panic.

"S-someone just flew in...and stabbed that Karu guy!" Fulmen yelled, looking back to the winged person. Ozone increased as Fulmen gathered energy, but he soon got down on one knee.

"I...still barely have any energy.."

Yumi gasped. "Oh,my no!" She cried.

She bent next to Fulmen. "Fully! I'm sorry so guys,but I'm going to take him and run. He's to weak."She put an arm around his shoulder.

"Can you walk,I'll help you." She said.

(I'll just be wreaking havoc until Schemer brings Isaac into things)

 

Crow forgot about Jaru and appeared before Yumi and Fulmen. He knocked Fulmen to the side and grabbed zyumi's face.

"Hm... You're a pretty one." He licked his lips.

"Go, take him Yumi!!" Xander said as he began to catch Karu with his telekinesis

 

"Karu!! Are you ok??!!"

 

"Rasiel, switch to your demon form!!"

 

[Crap!! Where did this bird guy come from??!!]

 

Xander jumped out of the car and readied himself

 

[Where is he??] Xander began looking around and spotted him with Yumi and Fulmen on the ground

Yumi's face went blank."N-no,I won't let you have me...who are you!" She was looking for an escape.

"Water,water..water!" She thought slowly.

She looked around when she remembered not to far off the path was a lake. "A lake!" She cried.

The walls started to cave in.  According to Xi, they didn't have long before they were crushed as thin as paper.  Ren's eyes darted to each of his companions in turn.  There were many things Ren had expected, yet nothing could have prepared him for this.

 

"Come on, guys!  We need to think!"  Ren shouted.  "We've got to figure out a way to stop those balls!"

 

Breaking out had been an option, until Ren realized the moment those doors flung open they'd be crushed in a matter of seconds.  No, they would have to stop those balls...but how?  He didn't think any amount of wind he could conjure had the capacity hold them back.

Karu jerked his hand back, grabbed by Xavier's teknesis and Rasiel immediately transformed into her demon-like form. Grabbing Karu, she chunked him out of the jeep.

"Run you idiot." she snapped.

Karu nodded, dashing off towards the timple. Rasiel wield several dark blades, flying up with her small, suprisingly helpful wings, pointing the blades at Crow.

"Who are you and why are you here? Why did you attack Karu of all people?" she snapped.

Fulmen stood up. Whoever this person was, Fulmen wasn't going to just let this guy push him down, and harm Yumi.

Not in his life.

"Whoever you are let go of Yumi now!" Fulmen yelled, the smell of feeling of ozone increasing rapidly; a rate and amount far stronger than it had been any previous times. "If you don't want to be hit by 30,000 Amps....then I suggest you back away." Fulmen said in a threatening voice; Crow having overstepped a line that caused Fulmen to show a bit more anger.

Crow threw Yumi aside and looked toward the little rabbit. "Heheh. The name's Crow." He said. "I live on causing pain and instilling fear. That boy seemed like a fun enough place to start." He appeared behind Rasiel and grabbed her by her wings. "Aww, you've got little wings like I do." Crow took the skies, still hanging on to Rasiel. Higher. Higher. "Let's see how well they work." He threw Rasiel toward the ground.

Crow then dove faster then you would believe and landed with a crash in front of Xavier. "Let's male sure you can't catch her." He said, mid-way through his uppercut.

Kilek's eyes darted around the room, the had to be some vantage point to use the snipers, but where? The walls were no good, hed be knocked aside like a twig if he tried there.

 

The cieling? It was his only option, he had to climb and see if there was some sort of window or vent, higher than where the wrecking balls were smashing unto the wall. With a running start, Kilek grabbed hold of the massive dents in the wall and tried to climb.

 

A wrecking ball hit full force where Kilek was at the moment, and sent him flying as if he was shot from a cannon, landing in the center of the room at Tsuna's feet. I coulda just looked up there, Kilek thought in pain, and surveyed the top of the warehouse, laying on his back

Neisan was knocked to the floor as a wrecking ball hit the wall close to him. "Dammit!" He shouted as he fell. "Hoo, got surprised there! Hmm. Wrecking balls. Let me think here." Neisan took a couple seconds to survey the situation. "If we could just hop on top of one of the balls as it breaks through the wall, we could swing to safety. I don't know if the building can stay standing long enough for that to happen, though. Neisan ran to the middle if the room. "We'll be safest here, for now."

Hazimie defeat several androids at the Temple.Then,he hears a noise from far away and hear a lot of people was suffering out there."Looks like things have according to his plan,huh....guys,we gotta do our next move after defeat this androids..."Hazimie said to Robert and Joshua as he then defeats the android one by one with full of hurry.Then,Hazimie turn up his music for more raged.
