So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Robert, Joshua, and Hazimie walked down the hallway untill they reached the door.

 

The door opened, but it was too dark to tell what was on the other side.

 

"Alright," Robert said, "you guys ready?"

"Ya, I'll be right back" He said to Locke as Rasiel led him and Karu into the bunker

then asked him to grab the med tape

 

"Sure, Rasiel" Xander used his telekinesis to get the tape and some anitbiotics for her

"You ok, Karu?? It looks pretty deep.."

"Rasiel, I'm gonna grab Fulmen real quick. Help Karu with his wounds, Ok?" Xander said to her just before he walked out the door

 

He walked over to where Fulmen lay unconscious

 

"I'll get him, Locke"

 

He reached out his arms and began lifting him

 

Xander then began slowly walking to the bunker while carrying him with his telekin

 

and set him down on one of the table

 

"I hope he's ok.."

 

He then turned his attention back to Karu and Rasiel

 

"Did you get him doctored up, Ras??"

"Yeah I'm ready...I guess...." Joshua replied to Robert. He stood in.between him and Hazimie so as not to be alone or in more danger. "There's no light in there...if there's no light, I can't fight at all...." Joshua told them both. He looked as closekly as possible but.couldn't find a shred of light. As if he'd be murdering things anyway, he hasn't fought with Robert or Hazimie at all yet.

 

Isaac's eyes quickly opened and in only several seconds, Isaac bent Ember's arm in its unnatural direction and threw her to the ground. "Excellent. Your skin is soft enough to be turned to sand paper." Isaac spoke aloud to her, liftinf her by the arm and grabbing over her stomach. He pulled out a skinning knife from his lab coat pocket and lifted Ember's shirt only up to her belly as of now. "I'll be generous and give you a choice." Isaac whispered disturbingly close to Ember's face. "...Where shall I start to skin?"

Hazimie then make a plan at the corridor."Don't worry,i hear the sounds on this corridor,even though we can't see..."Hazimie said as he taking the lead."Follow me!"Hazimie said as he and the others walking through the corridor with no light."The truth is,my powers is not just creating the music,but to sense the voice,music and noise too,so it should be safe..."Hazimie said as he keep walking...

(I actually have to thank you for being late, I didn't have to read as much T.T)

 

"No...not just because I can't see...I literally can't fight without light if I wanted to." Joshua corrected Hazimie, still following him in anyway. He stood closeby so Hazimie wouldn't quickly mistake him for an android. "I can at least heal if anyone gets hurt though...." Joshua said to him and Robert, quickly darting around the area to see if.he could see anything at all.

Neisan's ride was a little wobbly, but he made it through the opening safely. He was dropped from several feet, understandably. It must be hard to keep that kind of wind going. Neisan's shock absorbers broke his fall and he landed on his feet. "Ren, get out if there! The building's going to keel over!"

"I see,then we gladly and thank for your help with your healing powers...."Hazimie said as he and the others keep walking."Hey,i hear something in front of me.....it could be the exit..."Hazimie said as they moving on...

 

(I think i have to leave the rest to MDSVeritas since we don't know the area of the temple.Anyways,i will be gone for awhile since i have to go to school tomorrow,you guys went on without me like always,i'll catch up...)

Ember breathed heavily. She barely had any power left in her. All of it had gone to destroying the dummy. She had about one more matter change in her before she couldn't use her power anymore. She tried to clear her mind, and moved her right hand to the side. She turned the air into a bowstaff in her grip, and she swung it expertly at the man. With the man's focus lost, she squirmed out of his grip and rolled to the side. "Luce! Could use your help over here!"

Yumi sighed."I...erh okay.." Every thing had just kind of quickly happened before she could grasp any of it.

"I just think Fully is passed out...he'll be up and about soon. He was just tired." She said rather slowly.

She sat down on the floor." I think we should keep one of the kits." She said.

Isaac easily dodged the staff, but in the process, Ember had squirmed away like a bird trying to drop a worm onto its nest. Isaac strolled on over nonchalantly to Ember. "I love it when they run away. Their adrenaline induces and their blood is so much jumpier and thicker." Isaac said, licking his lips. He held the skinning knife in his left hand and pulled a dissection knife in his right. He still had much more in.his pocket, he could use about three at a time per hand if he wanted to. With Ember rolled onto the ground, Isaac knelt down near her and thrusted down one knife to the palm of her right hand.

In the distance, Robert saw a light. [The exit!] he thought, and ran srtaight for it. As he got closer, he saw that it was an open doorway. Through it he saw more jungle, proving that this was indeed a way out. Robert and the others went into a full sprint.

 

They were only a few yards away from it when a steel door slid in front of the doorway, sealing it off. A couple of seconds later, they herd the automatic door they had come in from lock. They were compleatly trapped.

 

Just then, all of the lights in the room turned on, revealing their surroundings...

In a swirl of blackness Crow appeared out of nowhere. He kicked Ember out of the way and faced Isaac. He chuckled. "You seem... Perfect. You seem like the type that revels in the deaths of others. Specifically those caused by your own hand. Time for you to taste death yourself!" He unfurled his wings, creating a vacuum wall around the two of them. "If no one wants to die here!" He announced. "Leave! Now!"

Isaac stood up and examined whatever the Hell just got here. "Well then, that was rather unexpected." Isaac said nonchalantly. "You took away my prey. Unfortunately, you're not human, so its more productive than it is fun to dissect you." Isaac said to Crow. "Perhaps ot could be interesting to see what makes up a creature able to appear out of thin air and darkness." He continued, with a bit of a tiresome and bored tone. Isaac taunted Crow to make the first move.

"Mph.." Fulmen groaned, sitting forward.

My head hurts like....augh... Fulmen groaned in his mind, placing a palm on his forehead, panting a bit. His mind was in it's usual foggy mess, and he could barely think straight.

"My head..." Fulmen groaned out-loud, looking about his surroundings. "Eh..? Where..?" Fulmen muttered, laying his head into his hand. His head hurt too much to begin thinking too much, and it left Fulmen panting even more.

Yumi got up hearing Fulmen pant. She bent down to his level. She kissed his forehead. "Fully your hot." She said.

"I'm too short to reach a med kit can anyone grab one? It must have an ice-pack." She said.

"Fully,please sleep now." She told him.

Just then, all of the lights in the room turned on, revealing their surroundings...

 

A big square room. It seemed barren on all walls and the ceiling. Looking down it became clear what the twist was... Instead of a metallic floor, they all stood on glass. Relatively thick, but still seemingly breakable. Below several meters below it was a pool of molten magma, bubbling up constantly with heat.

 

"Welcome to the test of will and balance." Xi's voice rang out in their earpeices.

 

A rumbling could be heard above them suddenly, and looking up all three of the participants saw it; a huge robotic drone in the general shape of a sphere. It seemed to be... floating.

 

"Air propulsion system through micro-jet engines placed within it. Light enough to fly. Heavy enough to break glass with ease. When all but  a sliver of your floor is gone, the door will open." Xi's voice cut off and the drones engines were all that remained. With little warning it darted downward, smashing through the glass creating a huge circular hole with cracks reaching out to the rest of the floor from it. The drone turned back up before even coming close the magma and rocketed towards the three... specifically Robert.

Perfect timing, Crow. Thus the next test begins. Let's hope Luce and Ember don't die so easily out of this...

Joshua darted his eys around the room, looking for the source of the voice. No dice. He listened anyway, feeling a bit of anxiety towards the drone and the magma. (A test...? I just got here...!) He thought to himself, standing closely in between Robert and Hazimie still. The drone above them soon crashed into the glass floor. (Thank goodness there's light....) Joshua thought. Without warning, the drone came down again, towards all three of them...! In an instant, the drone stopped temporarily, with a black stalagmite piercing through it, and shadowy tentacles attempting to rip apart several external engines. The shadows all clearly came from Joshua's own shadow behind him.

"Didn't I say if YOU helped him then I would help you?" Rasiel said to Xander, crossing her arms.

She stood up walking over beside Fulmen she looked at him with pity.

"Do you think everyone will be okay Yumi?" she asked, looking at Yumi.

"I am okay. It did hurt a bit. I have a headache now thanks to Crow wacking me upside the head." Karu said, laughing a bit.

"I think I'm fine. He wasn't to bad. Though,I've dealt with his kind my whole life so maybe I stop caring." She sighed. 

"I think everyone will me fine,you see I've had dreams like this,the only way to get thou is to keep going. I think a little rest would help us all. Oh I think there's pills unless your one of those herbal guys. I can help with that too." She said.

"Ha Ha, you're right. Sorry, Rasiel" Xander said as he began putting medication on Karu's hand

He then began wrapping it in bandages

 

"How's that, Karu??" He asked Karu just as Yumi asked for help getting a med kit

 

He used his telekin (Big surprise, ) to grab one and handed it to her

 

"There you go"

Fulmen turned to look at Yumi, smiling a bit. "Sorry..for fainting..back then. But...I swear, I'm fine now. Just tired. And thirsty. I wasn't hurt at all...i just overworked myself. I do, however...feel a lot better."

Fulmen put on a small reassuring smile, trying to get up and prove how well his condition had improved. Unfortunately, Fulmen stumbled a bit, nearly falling over himself.

"I-I swear I'm fine..." Fulmen muttered, shaking.

"Mmm... looks like a  big hit on the head you received, Fulmen. That or the excesive use of energy that you must have displayed." 

"Mmmm maybe we should rest a little, I don´t think Xi would gonna do something to us for now... I think so". Locke said while walking at Xander and  Rasiel. 

"Hey do you need something? I can draw anything you need for a limited period it would become real. He said to Rasiel and karu.

Yumi took the kit."Lay down." She told Fulmen in a forceful manner. 

"You feel hot to the touch.Rest and get better. We can go on later. That being said I want to see the temple. Rasiel,you could come if you like."She said.

"Fully." She took out an ice-pack. "Keep this on you head. At least in I come back." She said.

She gave him the ice-pack with a smile. "Now Rasiel you in or out?" She asked.

"Thank you Xavier." Karu said simply.

Rasiel hopped over rather swiftly to Karu's side.

"Xavier..." she said simply.

"NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU. So, I am not helping you in an way unless you are close to death." Rasiel said rather loudly a smirk.

'He he...I shouldn't have done that...oops...' she thought a bit doubted.

 

 

 

Xander looked at Rasiel with a surprised and slightly distressed look

 

"Wha....??.. You're welcome.." Xander said looking a bit down and confused
