So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

"Actually, the deal was that I kill you, at that point I inferred that you would stay dead. I'm on my own agenda now. Lucky you guys though, I want only Isaac's power." Sylar spoke, stepping away from the ongoing fight between everybody. He gauged the situation, his power helping him to formulate new tactics and understand the fight. He realized that Joshua would make it practically impossible to kill Isaac. Isaac, as of now, was also rendered busy by Crowkota and the two sisters. So, Joshua would be an adequate target. Sylar raised his hand, and wrestled control of his own shadows, freeing Xander. He used Joshua's tentacles to grab Joshua, and start to squeeze.

 

Ember summoned a new bowstaff and jumped. "Lupus! Drop attack!" Ember called, like it was a practiced maneiver that they had done in fights before. Lupus nodded and grew wings, she flew upwards fast, grabbing Ember on the way. Once up high enough, she dropped Ember. Ember fell down, and struck Isaac, hard. Then Lupus adapted claws similar to an eagles, and dropped herself down, quick. She also impacted with Isaac as well.

"Sylar...." Joshua muttered. It was with the softest and faintest of smiles. Without his shadows, Rasiel, Xander, and the others would be safer. But Isaac's influenced still caused them, more or less. Joshua conjured more shadows that went to Isaac's enemies: or at least Ember and Lupus. One sliced through Ember, the other smashed into Lupus like a sledgehammer.Just as the feathers impacted, Isaac coverted all his skin into the blood and water throughout his body, only for a few seconds so it wouldn't fall to the floor from gravity before reforming. The feather went through as the water reformed and coursed through his body as his skin and bones returned to it's normal position. "Close call." He said. Just then, he turned his hand back to carbon as he grabbed Lupus' 'claws' and bent them forward unnaturally, soon to break them.Joshua turned to Rasiel after. "I didn't mean to, Rasiel. Really...I'm sorry. Just go. Stay safe...away from here...anywhere...."

'Where to go...where to go...there is nowhere to go...' Rasiel thought, looking around.

She turned to Xander.

"Xander...how long do you think you'll last?" she asked quickly through telepathy.

"Well kid," Sylar said with a smile. "Can't kill Isaac with you around. And if I don't kill Isaac, your friends are screwed. So, hope you enjoyed rebirth." Sylar finished, and crushed his shadows inward with the strength to kill. Then he turned to Rasiel and Xander. Sylar imparted healing light to both of them. "Hide. Both of you. I intend to keep my promise for now." He spoke seriously, hoping they'd get the message. Then he turned for the final time, facing Isaac. Blades of darkness surrounded him, his hand beginning to freeze and a telekinetic aura around him. He was lifted a few inches off the ground by his wings, which were flapping casually.

Ember saw the dark blades coming, and quickly dematerialized them. However, this made her lose momentum and she fell to the ground, not hitting Isaac. Lupus continued at full speed, almost hitting Isaac, but he had quickly grabbed her foot and bent it. She cried out in pain, but turned the foot into an octopus tentacle, slipping through his grasp. Fallen to the ground, Lupus retracted her wings and turned her leg back to human. Her jaw grew large, filled with lots of new teeth. With the strength of an alligator's jaws,while Ember had conjured a hammer and was swinging full strength at the scientist's head.

As Kijiya chase on Isaac,he saw Ren,Neisan,Yumi and Fulmen nearby."ROOOOAAAARRRGGGHHH!!"Kijiya roared as he feeling anguish by meeting them.Then,he began using his multiple cannons from his left arm and launching at them.(I'M GONNA KILL YOU ALL!!)Kijiya thought as he still launching many times at them,hoping to kill them....

Neisan lept in front the small group, his shields extending. The blasts from Kijiya's cannons glanced off the energized metal. "We need to make a decision, quickly. Kijiya won't keep it's distance for long." Neisan fired a few harrying shots at Kijiya, mainly meant to distract rather than hurt.

"Then let's do this!"  With that, Ren summoned a puff of wind that rose the party to the top of the radio tower like an elevator.  "That way we'll be out of his reach," he explained.  They landed onto the flower-like roofing of the tower gently, before Ren took an offensive stance and surveyed Kijiya below.  "Okay, now; let's give it our all!"  A huge cyclone materialized before them.  It didn't linger long, however, before bouncing down to the ground and engulfing Kijiya in its roaring winds.

Neisan armed his lasers, firing countless times into the cyclone that engulfed Kijiya. "No way are any of those shots missing." His weapons blazed. "Fulmen, Yumi, do your thing!"

Isaac quickly tossed aa dagger straight to Lupus' literally big mouth. He then spewed his blood in an instant, somewhat solidifying it into a sticky and long elastic band of blood, grabbing and pulling on Crowkota, bringing him crashing into Thor's Ember's hammer. "What the Hellll?" Isaac asked sarcastically. Everyone was about attacking him, Sylar was preparing and Kijiya was rampaging elsewhere, though.

Joshua was gone, vanished after the shadow's closed in. Not even a corpse. A small tug came from behind Xander, a soft but extremely cold hand pulling on Xander's. A light came, and Xander's wound was healing.

Yumi nodded."What would you like? Something hard,like ice,fog to confuse him,just water? I mean there's many ways to get him wet.." She said and closed her eyes.

"I water wall would be best,get him wet and weaken him,what do you say?" She asked and looked at Fulmen.

(Sorry,these things need to be asked.)

When Rasiel tried to communicate with Xander, it was too late. He was already out..

 

He eyes slowly started opening after a few minutes. It took him a few seconds before he felt the cold, soothing light. His body started feeling rejuvenated. But he still couldn't fully open his eyes

 

"Mmmm" He moaned groggily

 

 

(Schemy, Where did the hand pull on Xander?? And, this was after Sylar, Right??)

Rasiel understood the fact that she had to hide....a million people didn't have to tell her. She sat down beside Xander on the ground, looking at Joshua with a small smile.

"Thank you Joshua..." She said with a smile.

"Xander, I know you are awake now...we need to hide...and we're taking Joshua with us..." She said seriously.

(YES WE CAN TOO. I WAS TOLD TO HIDE....IM HIDING! *runs away in fright of Isaac*)

Fulmen nodded. "Whatever you can do, do it. Drench him with as much as you can-- it'll make it easier for me to shock him." Fulmen said, giving Yumi a confident smile as he looked back down to Kijiya; all the way on the ground.

The smell of ozone again rose about Fulmen-- sparks flickering across his arms. The sound of popping was audible, and obviously his charge had started to leak into the radio tower itself.

"Just hurry."

Joshua continued healing Xander. He smiled faintly, but shook his head 'no'. "Sorry, Rasiel. But...Isaac still has a little control over me. And...I can barely live now...it hurts, Rasiel. ...Everything, hurts."

(Sooooorrrry... was gone the entire day.)

 

Lupus adapted her mouth area to a jellyfish's, allowing the dagger to stab through doing no real damage. She changed back to human completely, and backed up a bit, gauging the situation. Ember accidentally slammed her hammer into Crowkota, which spent her momentum. She landed and looked up. "Sorry birdboy." She apologized, conjuring tomahawks. Lupus adapted a scorpion tail, filled with extremely lethal poison. Sylar floated towards the fight, momentarily holding everyone with telekinesis. "One thing straight. I want Isaac dead. You two have interesting, but currently useless to me." He said, pointing to Lupus and Ember. "I would destroy all of you, but time is strict and I'd prefer not to be chained up." Sylar glanced above, winking at Him up above. "So let's go." Sylar released his hold on all of them. His blades of darkness shot at Isaac rapidly, Lupus struck him with her tail, and Ember began a combo of tomahawk strikes.

As Kijiya was been engulfed in Ren's Cyclone in order Yumi and Fulmen make a powerful attack,Kijiya feel a powerful pain from his chest.But it's not a pain that he received from Ren and the others,it was.....different.(Urgh,what's this.....pain?it feels....Burning!)Kijiya thought as he tries to endure that pain and the attack from Ren and the others as well...

 

(Get ready,guys......Kijiya is about to an end...)

"Joshua..??" Xander said, completely gaining consciousness, hearing Joshua and Rasiel talk. He smiled a little when he opened his eyes and saw Rasiel. But he quickly turned to Joshua. "I can't thank you enough."

 

He sat up. "Rasiel, It's time to go" He said looking at her. Then he sent her something through telepathy.

 

{We can't help Joshua. Only the defeat of Isaac can end his suffering now..} He was almost grim

 

"Joshua, I'm sorry this happened to you.. after what you did for us.." A tear slid down his cheek as he stood to his feet. "But you're suffering will be over soon." He said firmly. And then held out a hand to Rasiel

 

[isaac must be stopped. For Joshua's sake if nothing else!!] He thought while looking at the others battling him

Rasiel took Xander's hand, standing him up.

"Sorry Joshua....attack Isaac if you can..." She said, looking at Joshua sadly.

Her eyes traced up to Xander.

"Let's go..." She said, changing into her demon form, she changed into an invisible state.

"We are in an invisible state....nobody can see you now or hear you." Rasiel said rather bluntly as she and Xander began walking towards the woods.

'Why can't I fight....?' she thought.

The strong winds whipped at Kijiya, sending him spiraling several feet above the ground. Considering the demon wasn't making an attempt to escape or fight back, Ren thought their assaults were taking their toll.  "Hey, guys!  I think it's working!"  Ren repositioned himself, his cyclone faltering for merely a second before resuming its ferocious speed.  "Just a little more...we can do it!"  Or, at least he hoped they would.  Ren's powers had their limits, and he'd already exerted himself much over the course of the day.  He feared that eventually he wouldn't be able to tap into his wind abilities at all; but he wouldn't think about that right now.  They simply had to get him down first--that's all their was to it.
