So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Isaac's heart still beated. It beated a bit more. If his brain was anywhere else but his head" he'd be able to have the consciousness to reform himself. Isaac's heartbeat died out, and Joshua stared ahead rather emotionlessly. He didn't look at Isaac, and merely ran off when he heard Isaac's skull sliced.

It was gruesome just to hear. Did Isaac really need to die too? Joshua turned to his shadow" bouncing off the walls then soon vanishing, looking for anyone else he may have known. Hopefully Yumi and Fulmen were still alive too.

Sikota sighed. "I guess the dastard's finally down." He walked over to the other three who were fighting Isaac. "I guess formal introductions are in order. The name's Sikota."

 

He looked toward the cyclone. As soon as Ren and company finished off the other abomination it would be time. "Like I said. Who might you three be?"

(Silly, Yuffie, Trix are for kids I don't mind)

(He is dead! *starts playing the Parade March* Wait! *shuts the music up* can my child come back to the fight now that psyopathic Isaac is gone?! )

Sylar grinned and looked at Sikota, and read his ability, coming across an interesting secret. "Well then, "Sikota"," Sylar said, making air quotes, "My name is Sylar. I have no use for your power, so I will be taking my leave again." Sylar finished, dissolving into shadow, and reappearing next to Him. "Think I did a pretty bang up job." He said cockily, cracking his knuckles.

Ember glanced to Lupus and made the crazy gesture with her finger, and pointed to the spot Sylar had been but a second before. Lupus merely rolled her eyes and looked to Sikota. "Hello Sikota. My name is Lupus and my sister here, is Ember. As for powers, you obviously have wings. I can adapt any part of my body into the part of an animals. Ember can change the state of matter at will." Lupus said simply explaining herself and Ember's powers and names.

Sikota gave a slightly confused look to Sylar before he disappeared. Great. More people were doubting him. He turned to Lupus. "Able to adopt animal traits, eh? Maybe you and I could go on a bit of a flight together sometime soon." He winked at her turning around to face the cyclone. "That demon'll be the last of them."

"You did well." The shadowy figure agreed. He flicked his wrist and several glowing maroon chains had wrapped around Sylar. "But I must make sure that you don't cause anymore chaos. Once Ren defeats Kijiya, there's no telling how you might take advantage of following peace."

As Ren and Locke are trying to use their power that has been strengthen,Kijiya immediately use his cannon from his mouth and shot the whole place around him.The Tower is began to crumble once again and this time,the Tower are almost apart."ROOOAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!"Kijiya still roared,as he doesn't give a care about other people's safety in surrounding...

"Look out!" The shadowy figure unleashed a burst of energy that dispersed Kijiya's blast. He was panting with exhaustion. "Just so you know." He said to Sylar. "You're stuck too until I can free myself."

Neisan felt the radio tower tremble slightly. Maybe his armor was a little too much for it to support. Maybe it was Kijiya. Maybe it was the new arrival, who had some kind of drawing power. . . . Maybe it was something else. "Fulmen, now's the time!" Neisan's weapons kept firing into the cyclone.

Fulmen nodded. It was all or nothing now. Either they died when the tower fell, or Kijiya would be torn apart by what would hopefully be his end via a lightning strike. Or maybe someone else would do the finishing blow.

Fulmen didn't care. As long as Kijiya died, and Yumi and the others lived. "Right!" He yelled, slamming his palms together, the smell of ozone even more powerful than before. A massive charge swept over his arms, shooting out of his outstretched palms when he forced them forward-- a single bolt of lightning streaking towards Kijiya's open (and soaked) body.

"Doesn't matter. Got enough power for now." Sylar said, still taunting Him, even though he was in chains now. "But I could've sworn you said that I wouldn't have to deal with chains if I killed Isaac. But whatever..." Sylar trailed off, gazing down to the battle below.

Lupus smiled slightly, growing wings and flapping a few feet into the air. Ember muttered quietly, "Show-off." Then she collapsed from the many wounds she had sustained from the three fights she had been in quick succession. Lupus fellback down to the ground, and knelt besides Ember.

"All right?" She asked sincerely. Ember nodded a tad.

"Yeah, just need some rest..." Ember replied quietly, drifting into unconsciousness. Lupus nodded understandingly, and turned back to Sikota.

"Don't happen to have any healing powers?" She asked politely.

"The feather's may help." Sikota replied. "They've worked before. I tend to use them sparingly as the methods requires a little invasion of personal space. You up for it?"

A smirk crossed Ren's face at Locke's statement, clearly amused that he'd surprised him.  His words didn't betray him, however, as he said, "My apologies.  Normally I can provide a smoother ride, but right now, as you can see"--he nodded in the direction of the demon--"my attention is a little divided."  He paused, taking the man in a moment as he introduced himself as Locke.  Ren nodded.  "It's nice to meet you, Locke.  As for this abomination, his name is Kijiya.  Apparently he is one of Xi's pawns, and will do anything to serve him.  There was a time when he'd taken the shape of a human, but now"--the redhead let out a sigh, shaking his head--"it seems he's driven with a mad lust for emotions, and is beyond reasoning.  He's becoming a huge problem, so now we're trying to eliminate him."

 

Not long after Neisan and Fulmen unleashed their attacks, a cannon blast from Kijiya blew into the tower, causing it to sway menacingly.  The shadowy figure below did as much as he could to prevent the blast from hitting them right on, but still the damage to the tower was critical.  Ren nearly lost his footing and collapsed over the side.  He threw his hands out to catch himself, his cyclone faltering.  Swearing under his breath, Ren tried to resume it, but he was too exhausted now; the cyclone continued to weaken.  "No!" he breathed.  Ren turned to the others, who looked just as concerned about the tower collapsing as he was.  "Forget sustaining him, we're going to go down if we stay here.  Let's come up with a plan to get down--alive!"

(I'm sorry, I'm a little confused.  I know Sikota helped to deflect the attack, but a lot of damage still incurred on the tower, as indicated in Kijiya's post of it being nearly destroyed.  Did I miss something else?  If so, please let me know and I'll go back and fix it.  Thanks. )

(OH!  Sorry, for some reason I'd just assumed it was Sikota!  Thank you for pointing this out; I will go back and fix that. )

"Noted" He said, returning her glare with a soft smile.It faded when he noticed her look up a bit disturbed".. It's getting kinda late" He said quietly

"I'm not going to sleep yet, I'm staying awake until everything's okay..." Rasiel said, turning to Xander. "For the mean time...." She said, leaping up to the branch above Xander, sitting down she grabbed her PSP. "I still have a game to finish." Rasiel sighed, clicking on her half finished Otome game. (Remember, Rasiel plays Otome games...or dating sim games )
