How would KH3D be in an HD ReMIX?

Posted

I mean here`s why I think it won`t make the cut in a ReMIX...

1.) The Name.

I mean I GUESS they could use Kingdom Hearts 3D and it would make sense (since Dream Drop Distance) but It wouldn't be in 3D technically so there would be issues there.

2.) It`s too recent.

Maybe by the time KH2.5 ReMIX rolls around we would have long forgotten about KH3D but I still think it would be too recent for an HD Remaster.

Anyway those are just my thoughts, what do you think?!

I don't think it will make it either.  If they can only fit 3 games into a remix chances will be that 2.5 will consist of: KH2 (Game), BBS (Game), and Coded (Movie).  the 3ds is pretty up to par graphic wise, so there is no real reason to remake it again.  Plus DDD actually used the touch pad, which can't be replicated on the PS3.  My bet is that if they remake it, it will only come in a movie format.

Maybe someday, but for me, it'll take time, because it's way too recent. Doesn't seem worth doing for the next 2 years...

About the 3D part, PS3 can play games and movies in 3D if you have a 3DTV, like I do! :D

But it would be a little harder on gameplay to remake it at this time and that would cause problems. Maybe it will one day be released on the PS4 where there would be more options to work with.

I doubt it. It's already 3d so they'd have to just call it dream drop distance. The most it'll get imo is cutscenes.

Hmm, I dunno. I don't really see the need, cause the graphics are okay. It plays really smooth, the game is already really enjoyable as it is, so why would they even remake it?

Another reason I doubt this, is that game was made for the nintendo 3DS, as far as gameplay aspects go, it relied a lot on the touch screen part of the 3DS, I suppose they could switch things up to make it playable according to the ps3 or ps4, but idk. Maybe at most we'll get cutscenes if they decide to do a remaster of that one.

Yeah I can't imagine they'll be including 3D. Besides, the graphics are amazing enough as they are. HD remaster isn't necessary and Re:Coded would be easier. It's not like they'd just leave Re:Coded out.

It COULD make it with cutscenes, but not the full game. Maybe with the edition of Re: Coded cutscenes, maybe?

I'm going to quote what I said in another thread:

Once again I contest the notion that KH3D is "too recent".Here:Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (PSP) (about 8 months later -> PS3)MGS Peace Walker (PSP) (about 1 1/2 years later -> PS3/Xbox360)God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PSP) (about 10 months later -> PS3)Resident Evil Revelations (3DS) (about 1 1/4 years later -> PS3/Xbox360)^ See what these games have in common? They were all released (upcoming release in case of RE) on HD consoles not too long after the release on their respective handheld devices.KH3D will most likely have been out for at least two years by the time we get around to the second HD collection (it's been out for almost a year already in Japan). And I'd like to add:

The reason for porting it to PS3 would not so much be for "remastering" reasons but for allowing KH fans without handhelds to play the game.

Since Nomura wants to bring all the games to one console, it would probably be easier to include it as cutscenes in a collection rather than a full port seperately.

It would not be in another HD Remix because it is for 3D and main consoles right now don't support 3D without the glasses, it is too recent, and it's already on a powerful hand-held console. There's no need to remaster it.

They could always take the 3D off if they made cutscenes for it in 2.5

Then the title would be changed to Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance instead of Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance. The 3d keeps the subtitle true and correct to the overall story.

I like how my points just keep being ignored. =/No, it's not too recent. Period. It's already on a powerful handheld console? Well that's wonderful for everyone who owns said handheld console. It's pretty useless to me however, what with the not-owning-a-3DS thing.

It would get changed to dream drop distance in this case but dream drop distance would still work as a title.

I would like it to be in 2.5 seeing as i dont own a 3DS and the chances of me getting one is pretty low.

The controls can be redone, the game can be upscaled, and the map can be added to a corner of the screen. Simple as that.

PS4 trackpad used for reality shifts. Sounds simple enough to me.
