9. I doubt they'd ever have Pikachu evolve. It's too iconic. One thing that bugs me though is that Pikachu has to be at least level 100 by now yet still loses to weak pokemon.

Even though I agree with you,you really not saying anything new dude

 

But even though I hate the Pokemon Anime,it least it's better than the monstrosity that Naruto Shippuden has become through endless fillers in the anime and a boring and almost non-existing character development and stupid story progression in the manga(looking at you Sakura Haruno)

 

As for Pikachu...Remember that he's the mascot of the Pokemon franchise and making him evolve will be highly controversial among Pokemon fans since so many fans of the franchise love Pikachu or used to him as the mascot of Pokemon

 

Making Raichu a mascot all of a sudden won't be a good decision even though I love Raichu so much

 

 

As for N....if you're watching the Japanese version...N has already joined Ash and his friends  but never told them about his identity as the Leader of Team Plasma or his plan

 

Team Plasma actually appeared in the anime but far more less times than Team Rocket even though this is the Unova League and Team Plasma should be roaming all over the region.

I feel like the show is more towards taking care of each other, being friendly and doing the right things. First Season, it was all about battling and winning and so forth.

Well that's how I view it. I felt like they changed direction to make the show less violent since the first season since it's a "monster" fighting a "monster." 

STARTING to become trash?Honestly, I though after Hoenn things got horribly bland. I still love the games though.

Pokemon has been losing it's edge for a while. I hope it actually gets better, beyond the basic plot for every episode which involves Team Rocket doing some ridiculous antic that no one expected, and Ash being, as stated, a noob.

 

I hope that it'll actually redeem itself at some point, but I doubt it...

As  much as I hate the new anime I think it's probably not meant for long time fans.

 

I guess they're kind of trying to expand their fanbase to more people rather than hooking long time watchers of the anime, because if a five year old were to stumble on a really well thought out episode of Pokemon that was part of a more elaborate story you would have to watch from the beginning to know about they would most likely abandon the series not knowing what was going on

 

But finding one of the current Unova eps, they could just watch it and enjoy it for what it is, and start to want more Pokemon and they would end up becoming another source of money.

 

Though that's just my guess at their marketing strategy....

3.  This is because everyone is different.  Some people are faster at picking things up than others.  I've seen those trainers like Cameron battle and to be honest it seems that Cameron has an natural talent for battling.  Ash had to learn.  They're two different people.  And if you remember, Ash won as a noob many times in the first season.

The series has been going on for over 10 years. It was bound to suck after awhile. After the Jhoto league, it was pretty obvious that Ash would never become Pokemon master. Seriously nintendo? Just end the anime already.

 

Since the series keeps going on, i just believe in this theory that Ash has been in a coma since he and Pikachu crashed on the Bike in the first couple of episodes:

 

Stopped after Battle Frontier started, mostly due to those reasons. Most likely never going back. Sticking to the games.

To each his own. For me, Unova was the biggest offense the anime has dealt. I understand that it was supposed to be a "reboot" of sorts, and that our main character can't win them all (I actually don't mind when Ash loses sometimes) but we have to draw the line somewhere for goodness sake. Ash's regression was handled terribly, and was punctuated by the fact that a.) He made simple mistakes and lost to beginners, and b.) He's been through numerous gym battles and leagues, and was even asked to be a Frontier Brain (a rank on par if not above the Gym Leader). I just hope they plan on stepping up the next season of the anime, but regardless of the quality, as a die hard/longtime fan I'll be watching. We can only move forward... and Pikachu forever!

I have to say, number two is bunk. New pokemon are just as creative as old ones. Except all the pikachu clones. I am tired of that. But otherwise, 2 is false.

Also regarding Gen 5 Pokemon I find what you're saying somehow offensive....don't tell me because of the Ice cream Pokemon or the Garbage Pokemon because trust me those are more creative than the blob Pokemon Muk or the Pokeball pokemon Voltorb(I like Electrode though)

 

Regardless if you hate Black and White or not you can't deny that there are alot of creative Pokemon in Gen 5....more than Gen 3 where most Pokemon looked like Digimon

I like Magnemite family evolutions especially Magnezone in Gen 4

 

Yeah every generation has it's shares of bad Pokemon(looking at you LickiLicky) but that doesn't mean the entire Generation would suck for that

 

At least in Pokemon they're trying new designs unlike in Final Fantasy in which they recycle the same old summons we've seen thousands of times only with different design( Seriously I can't identify Bahamut anymore because of how they rehash the summon with different design everytime ).

 

 

Also,I have to say that Ash's journey in Unova is far better than Hoenn where he pretty much had his IQ dropped to 0

 

And if you really want a trash anime.....just look at the recent Naruto episodes and Manga chapters.....the story progression makes little to no sense 

 

And if you want another one look no further than Sonic X ....The Metarex season with cosmo makes ABSOLutely no goddamn sense
